"These guys are above excellent! I already had estimates from 2 companies for for a new furnace. One was way too high, and I just didn't feel right about the second one. I called One Hour and got an appointment for a quote the following day. Habib came and took all the measurements for the entire project and gave me an exact price for the work. He explained everything I wanted to know, including the high standards their company follows, from getting exactly the right heating capacity to the requirements for every one of their employees: from drug screening and criminal records to excellent work and cleanup. They have a great guarantee, without any of the usual "membership" stuff that many other companies have. They cleaned up afterwards. Greg showed me the new furnace and how to use the emergency shut-offs, and how to change the filter. And he explained how to use the thermostat. "Had maintenance contract with Absolute to service HVAC, electrical, plumbing twice a year. On recent maintenance visit A/C condensation line was found to be clogged due to "dirt getting into the system from lack of filter maintenance". Cost $329 to clean line which was not covered under contract (and seems a bit excessive!!). Was told filter replacement was not covered in maintenance contract. Seems to me that this would be a priority maintenance item! Technician comment on last visit 5 months earlier stated filter was "still clean" and not replaced. Needless to say we will be finding another company to do our maintenance from now on."
