"I hired Aqua Sewer & Drain to repair a leaking pipe under the slab of my home - by no means a simple job. Alec was clear with my repair options and the cost estimate. He and Jeff together were able to perform the entire repair process including removing and replacing the flooring, jackhammering the slab, and the leak repair itself. Throughout the process, they kept the work area neat and kept me updated on their status. Once the job was complete, it was as if there was never a trench in my living room. I was completely satisfied with their work and recommend Aqua Sewer & Drain."

"I highly recommend Alliance Plumbing. Although another plumber was slightly cheaper with their estimate for my project, Alliance responded to my home rapidly, provided a fair estimate and was eager to begin work on the project. They provided a clear explanation of what the job required and the time and materials needed to complete the job. I will absolutely consider Alliance Plumbing the next time I have a plumbing project at my home."

"My toilet had overflow issues which unfortunately wouldnt replicate while Roy was at my house. Even though I didnt get any work done, the professionalism was on point. I felt like an idiot because my toilet flushed perfectly each time for him. But Roy made sure to still inspect all toilet components and pipes, went in the basement and outside to look for any causes. He also raised awareness to what other damage leaks can cause and other helpful information to keep in mind. He was very friendly and explained everything very well. Definitely will request again if I have another issue."

"Water heater started to leak. Called Artic and they dispatched a technician the next morning since it was not an emergency. Price quoted for two new 50 gallons Bradford White gas water heaters and piping modifications was $3,400. Decent price. Not cheap but definitely not overpriced. Mike the technician was knowledgeable. He is a little rough around the edges but not rude or impolite. Will definitely recommend this company."

"My old water heater stopped working so we run out of hot water, and it is quite an urgent matter for our family due to severe weather condition (15~20 F). We called a couple of plumbing companies and also tried both Angie's list and home advisor. Bob is the most reasonable plumber we talk with, both in courtesy and price. We made the call at the morning and he came to our place around 5:30 PM. The whole installation took about 3 hours due to complication of the pipes in my place. We were very glad that we had hot water that night and it is a tough job to do. Bob and his buddy did a very good job in terms of installation, cleaning and piping. Overall, we have an excellent experience hiring him, and he's a very reasonable, nice and experienced plumber that we'll definitely recommend to our friends."

"OUTSTANDING SERVICE!! WC FALLOWS solved a tricky problem for us, FAST. Our main septic pipe seal degraded over the years, and we started getting ground water streaming into our basement, every time it rained heavily. Bill and his team were super responsive, and knew exactly how to remedy the problem. Bill is clearly an expert in this field, and even had to cut through our deck to access the pipe. I am happy to report it rained like crazy last night, and our basement is DRY! Not only are Bill/team highly skilled, but they provided 1st class service; took muddy shoes off before coming inside the house, meticulously and carefully replaced our deck planks to minimize damage, hosed surfaces down after work was completed, etc. etc. They are fantastic and Bill's sense of humor is an added bonus! Thoroughly enjoyed working with him/his team, and would highly recommend."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Ewing-township, NJ

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
