"The meeting was fine. Mike is a professional guy with a vast knowledge of HVAC equipment. I am confident he would be able to perform the job without any worry and I would definitely consider hiring Sharps in the future. I did not go with this company because I wanted a brand other than a Lennox and/or any subsidiary company to Lennox. Their price was competitive and fair to the many other HVAC contractors I met with. <br />"

"Let me start by saying that I'm very particular with who I let work on my house. And right away I could tell that the owner and technician were very knowledgeable and knew what they were talking about. <br /> <br /> During one of the hottest days in July, our Lennox air conditioner quit working due to a few issues. Normally this isn't a big deal, but my wife was 7 months pregnant at the time. I called Complete Comfort and told them the situation with my wife, and even though they were busy, they were able to have someone at my door in an hour. From the beginning the tech was very confident that he knew what the issue was, and just to be sure, he confirmed this with an internal Lennox technician. After replacing the capacitor and fuse the Air conditioner kicked back on. He also took the time to install a thermostat that I hadn't had time to install yet, fix some wiring that a past technician had done, and clean the outside vents of the air conditioner. This is how business should be done."

"The job went very well from my perspective as the homeowner. These were mature, experienced, skillful men who took pride in their work and were intent on providing a service done "right".  The completed work looks beautiful and I have had no further problems.  I am very pleased with their workmanship and this company is in my file of "dependable craftsmen". <br />"

FAQs for gas piping projects in Fairgrove, MI

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
