Anthony also replaced stairs to my deck and also made a banister, he replaced boards on my deck. He patched a couple of holes in the walls. Everything looks amazing. His prices are fair. He was always on time and cleaned up, took away the all wood that had to be replaced."

"Our first meeting with Yakup Koksaldi, the President of t h e company, was very productive. We told him what we wanted and he sat there and drew up the plan exactly the way we wanted it to be. He was cool and professional and never once pressured us. He was honest and gave us good advice. We did an addition (23'x14'), with an A roof. They started work in June 2016 and completed the job by mid August 2016. The work was neatly done and up to code. From the foundation to the roof, the skylight, the energy efficient Windows, the heating system, laminate flooring, electrical system and light fixtures . Everything was done with great professionalism. The workers were polite and worked effortlessly. We are very pleased with the outcome of our addition. Since completing this job, we already had them come back to do a small project. We have recommended them to our friends because our friends just love our addition. "My wife and I DO NOT use anyone who is not on Angie's List so we understand the importance of having accurate, fair reviews. We found Cary on Angie's List with overall great feedback on jobs he had done so we called him in for an estimate. Despite being very busy, he made the time to come over on a Saturday morning. He had previously dropped by and assessed the damage from the outside but needed to see it from the inside to ensure he could judge it accurately. After 15 minutes, our fears were realized and he said he would need to remove the cedar impression siding and remove the roof and replace it with a different system because the pitch wasn't steep enough. 
Within 48 hours, he provided a quote for his crew to come out and get the work done in a single day which was completely reasonable. He completed the work (guaranteed) as promised and left the site immaculate. He took pictures of the issue, of job progress and of the completed job. He mentioned he went around and filled some other issues he noticed while he was waiting for his crew to wrap up, no charge at all. He then discounted the quoted, agreed price 5% for angie's list deal I wasn't even aware of. Have you ever heard of a contractor accept less than an agreed price? Me neither.
Angie's List is a great resource for people to share experiences. I think the contractors who are honest and reasonable should be applauded too. We have been on the receiving end of some really lousy service so this was a new experience having someone do what they promised to do. Cary and his crew are the best in Monmouth County. We already have him pricing out finishing a storage space and will use him to build our deck in the spring. I cannot recommend Cary enough and you can reach me through Cary if you'd like to see his work firsthand.

Some were way too expensive,   others didn't want the job, or said I lived too far away.  I was able to get David in person on the first call. I told  him what I wanted done and he made an appointment to meet me on a specific date.  He kept me informed every step of the way.
The window matched my existing windows perfectly. David had it installed in an hour during a heavy rainfall!   
I was very happy with the end results! I wouldn't hesitate to use Nilsen Building and Remodeling LLC again for other projects!

"The work was great, they were great, they cleaned up after themselves, everybody was very polite. I never had any issues with the work everything was good, they also put in some new fixtures, ceiling fans. They also got someone to refinish the hardwood floors and over see the project. Their pricing was very reasonable for the amount of work I needed to be done."
