"While performing two small repair jobs, they discovered a much more serious problem, a pipe leaking into the basement, which had been going on unnoticed for a long time. They were able to return the following day and make the repair. I was extremely impressed with their professionalism, the quality of their work, and their pleasant dispositions. The jobs were done quickly and the cleanup was thorough. I will absolutely call Mayo Plumbing again if I have a problem, small or large."

"I Asked Angie's List for help in finding a provider that could replace 4 damaged kitchen tiles. They provided me 3 names and after reviewing reports I decided to try Tub Company. I sent email with pics of the tile and in a day or two received a call from Jeff, the owner. I explained I had replacement tiles and original grout. He asked a few questions but felt the pics provided enough info to give a bid over the phone. I agreed and we set up an appointment. Eli showed up. He was very professional and courteous. He did state the repair would kick up a lot of dust as grout would have to be cut with grinder. Jeff had already alerted me to that over the phone. Importantly I did express my concern about limiting the dust as best as possible. Eli really did do a good job of sealing off the area as best as he could with plastic. He also covered the kitchen cabinets, opened window and placed a fan in it to draw as much as possible outside. He also used a grinder that had some sort of vacuum to draw as much of the dust as he could. Eli replaced three of the tiles and was able to patch a small chip in one tile so it did not need replacing, thereby saving me one of the few replacement tiles I had left in case I need a future repair. Can't tell where chip was. Good match. He set the tile and then let it sit overnight to get a good seal. He then came back next morning and grouted.
I can't believe how much better the flooring looks in the kitchen. I guess we just tolerated the cracked tiles and got used to it. My wife and I are very pleased with the job Tub Company did.

"I am extremely pleased with the job completed by Jason and his team. This team is professional and very attuned to detail. There were a few things, not related to the kitchen, that came up during the project, which I asked the team to address. They handled them and still were able to work on the kitchen project. The team worked up until they had to wait on the counter top installation; then, returned and finished the job. The job was started on 5/20/19 and was finished on 6/21/19. I highly recommend Honey Do's Solutions, which I have used for other projects."

"There were both good things and bad things about replacing a shower with Signature. The design phase went very well. The designer was helpful in narrowing down ideas and providing feedback while still allowing me to make the final choice. It was for help with design that I initially chose to use Signature. I also knew I would pay a little more for that service. However, after all the initial choices were laid out, some things started to go wrong. First, during install, four holes were accidentally poked all the way through the wall into the connecting room. While the holes were repaired by spackling and sanding over, I was now faced with having to repaint at a minimum a whole wall and possibly an entire master bedroom since the previous home owner did not leave any matching paint. Also after installation was done, I found some unused grout had been dumped at the side of my house by the garage instead of being disposed of properly. The real problem happened several months after the install. The entire faucet apparatus became loose from the wall. I called Signature to report the problem and after a couple weeks they finally sent out the original installer to fix it. It was tightened for a while, but again came loose after a few months. I again reported the problem to Signature and my designer but this time they did not contact me to take care of the problem. I ended up having to pay money to have a regular plumber come and take a look at it. They quickly identified that part of the valve must have broken during installation and instead of having a proper fix when the wall was open, a cheap jerry-built solution was attempted to be used not only on the original install (possibly tried to glue with silicone) but on the first re-fix as well. The plumber even found a drywall anchor used as part of the incorrect fix attempt. Long story short is the design and materials are good, but beware that customer service after the sale is terrible and your might be responsible for paying more for someone else to come fix their mistakes. I understand things rarely go perfect, but if they had owned up to their mistakes and fixed them properly, I would have considered using them again, albeit with a different installer who does not take shortcuts."

"Have a high end faucet that was not letting water flow. I was able to partly fix it but needed help. Purchased a new faucet and called J & E to install. Curt was fantastic. He recommended we keep the Grohe Lady Lux we had because it is much better than the new ones you can get at the local hardware stores. He was able to completely take it apart and drove to Henry plumbing for a replacement part. The cost ended up being half the cost of the new faucet I purchased and was able to return."

"We had a list of things that we needed done. Al contacted us promptly and visited to look at the scope of the issue with our bathroom. We thought the damage we had was from the water coming from the shower, but he readily diagnosed it as cracks in the exterior wall. Someone came and did the tuckpointing on the next warm day, and the following week Al and his team did the rest of the work. They were quick, communicative, and affordable.

"Dan arrived early, agreed with my diagnosis of the problem with the first toilet (worn washer) but explained why replacement of the innards would probably be a better, longer lasting solution than trying to repair the 70 year old mechanism, which is what I had suggested it needed. I agreed with his analysis, and the repair was made quickly with parts he had in his truck. While he was doing that work, he gave me some tips on how to repair the sticky bathtub drain lever, should I ever want to do that myself. I then asked for advice on a peculiar flushing behavior on the toilet in another bathroom. His description of probable causes, and the reason why replacement of the toilet was probably the best long term solution, was completely understandable. But I related my perfectly awful experience with a low volume toilet 20-plus years ago, and explained why we were looking at the 6 gallon toilet I'd scrounged to replace the worthless one. His description of their experience with the reliability of the toilet brand they recommend, and the design changes that had been made to achieve that reliability, was persuasive, and I decided to do the replacement. Dan had to go get the new toilet, but the removal and installation went very smoothly, and he was done pretty much within the original window they had predicted for the job I called them to do. All old parts were taken away, and the work areas were left perfectly clean. I thought the bill was quite reasonable for the work and advice I received. And after more than a week, the new toilet is working perfectly. I could not have asked for a better service experience, and will certainly call Burke first if I need (or even think I need) plumbing work done in the future."
