They mowed the yard with attention to how it looked when finished rather than just rushing to get it do so they could be off to the next job. And I appreciate that! And it looked great. They also transformed our driveway that was way over due to be pressure washed into the cleanest it has ever been. And our driveway had a lot of algae build up. Their technique of careful application of chemicals so that they soak into the concrete before pressure washing works better than any company's process I have ever seen. "It took several months to get Mr. Daniel Thorne, owner of Dj’s Construction, to fulfill the Angie’s list coupon’s deal of 3 hours of handyman services for $99. However, Mr. Thorne was in touch with me and informed me that he had a big job to finish – building a house - and that it was going to take him a few months to honor the coupon.
After he finished the house that he was building, I contacted him by email, and he was ready to schedule a time soon after I’d contacted him. Mr. Thorne came with his son, and both did a great job installing the fans and the light fixture.
In spite that Mr. Thorne had to customize the installation of two of the ceiling fans because the flush mount was not the standard size, hence it took he and his son much longer to install these fans, he was very reasonable in the cost for the extra hours of work (in addition to the original 1 ½ hours for two handymen).
Mr. Thorne and his son were very professional and courteous as well. Mr Thorne also helped me with one other minor fix in the garage, and he didn't charge me for helping me, although this was outside the scope of our original agreement.
