Well, I want to give them a chance so will have them back again but I am concerned that they all tend to talk to me a lot. Also they were training a new employee. so they did not get the house totally done. I liked all of them very much but would like to think that when I am paying them their full cost that they will get down to business and get the job done. I also was not pleased with the cleaning they did on my granite countertops. When I ran my hand across them they felt gritty not smoothly clean. Also they seem to come a distance so I wonder what they do if the weather gets bad. I will try them again as I said because they are very nice personable women and then I will decide if I will hire them permanently.

"We liked the idea of a counter top that could be installed in one day. We also liked the mixture of granite and coral which gave the overall appearance of granite without its problems. The lifetime guarantee for us was appealing and the fact that there was a 10 year warranty when we sold the house was very positive. The countertop was absolutely no maintenance and very attractive. The only drawback was that we did not get the exact color combination that we wanted. The problem was mostly ours - we were in a hurry to get it installed but we did think the sales person could have been a little more help in insuring that the color was correct. I was introduced to Love Tile and Marble through a claim with my home owner's insurance. Kevin and his team were sent out as sub-contractors for the tile repair. The insurance company paired us with a project manager to handle all aspects of the demolition and re-building of our two bathrooms. Long story short - we had a terrible experience with that project manager, and their other sub-contractors (the electrician, plumber, etc). The ONLY positive experience we had through the entire process was with Love Tile and Marble. Their workmanship was superior. They showed professionalism. And just as important, they showed respect for my home. These guys put down canvas to protect my hardwood floors and wiped their boots on the mat before they came in. It may seem like small gestures. But, through the 3 months of hellish renovations and dozens of contractors in and out of my home, the respectful ones stand out. 

After choosing my new floor tile, Kevin made suggestions on the pattern because of the imperfections in the tile (1/3 pattern, as opposed to the 1/2 pattern I originally wanted). I agreed with his suggestion and the floors came out beautifully! We also hired him again for other work, since we were so happy with his previous work. 

Bottom line - Kevin and his team are utterly fantastic. Fair and reasonable prices for top quality workmanship (which I can personally attest - is tough to find these days)."

"McHales is expensive, but for us we have a baby on the way and we just bought our house, so time was of the essence and we did not want to contract it out or try to cut corners. In the end I still gave them an A for cost because you know going in they are expensive compared to alternatives. However, they take care of everything from getting permits to inspections, et al.
Doug was our designer - Very nice guy and knowledgeable - We disagreed a little initially on the lay out of the bathroom but in the end we trusted him and it worked out great. Although he really pushed for us to have a tub with built in around it and we wanted a free standing tub - Again, it worked out great my wife loves her soaking tub.
Larry was our Project Manager - I can't say enough good things about Larry. Very nice and friendly guy. The bathroom turned out great and Larry did/oversaw the majority of the work so Thanks Larry! If you have time to wait until Larry is available I would highly recommend it!
Lastly - we had a bit of an issue with our plumbing - which turned out to be a small issue and was totally unrelated to the work that McHales did. However, I bring it up here because, both Larry and our plumber (name?) came out first thing in the morning to make sure everything was ok and seemed genuinely concerned about their work product and wanted to ensure that everything was OK. Really gave my wife and I a good feeling about this company.
We are still waiting for them to come out and finish up a few touch ups that I noticed, but I am a bit of a picky person so this stuff is not a big deal in the grand scheme of things.
