"Sales rep. came to my home, wrote a contract for install front gutter with a gutter guard, installed gutter then said they cannot install the guard. I got the advantage of 2 more customers and they have the same gutter installed with the guard. If the contract said install guard, then do it. This company tried to change the date the job was to be complete. This made it difficult for my neighbors and myself. Note; the contractor did not even secure the downspout to the house. All it need was 2 straps. I would not recommend this company. They say one thing, then change up. Quality of workmanship, I give it a 2.5. NOT RECOMMENDED!"

I have dealt with many service providers and contractors in my decade here in Washington, DC, and I can confidently say that Mackay Roofing is absolutely outstanding.  I am a discerning consumer, and I simply could not be happier with Mackay's service. 
First, an actual Mackay family member answered the phone when I initially called.  He was great, and offered to visit my home for an estimate same-day.  Following that, his crew arrived at my home exactly on time for the estimate that day.
The actual work went perfectly as well.  Another member of the Mackay family attended the entire job and updated me during the day on his team's progress.  Further, he took many pictures of both the before/after aspects of the work and was more than willing to email/text them to me.  Also, each member of the crew was conscientious, and the overall job was high quality and completed by end-of-day, which is what was estimated.  Finally, the price I was quoted was the price I paid.  There were no surprises, adjustments, etc.  
Lastly, I was very impressed with Mackay's focus on customer satisfaction and personal service.  I have called them twice with follow-up questions, and each time my questions were answered by the Mackays directly, and all is well.

He was low pressure and professional, a pleasure to work with. He was knowledgeable about the latest products from Simonton, the manufacturer whose windows I wanted to purchase because I've been happy with my previous Simonton purchase. Moreover, his estimate was lower than another one I had received. I needed replacement windows for only half the house as the other half already had newer windows, so this wasn't a huge job. Nonetheless, I was surprised that only one workman was sent and so the job took 2 days to complete. Al was very responsive to my questions and made sure that I was pleased with the end result. I would certainly use Supreme again and am seriously considering having them replacement all my siding next spring, as they provided a very reasonable estimate for replacing the siding and rotten wood trim and wrapping the trim in metal.
