"Fantastic--Alex is prompt and does excellent work. I had all of the very old window screens in my home replaced, including one screen that needed to be made from scratch due to a bent frame. A few years ago, Alex made a new frame for a screened patio door with great results, so I asked him to redo the screens on the windows this year. Alex arrived promptly, removed the window screens, replaced the screens, made a new frame and screen for one window, and then put the window screens back in. He worked efficiently, is friendly, and his price was more than reasonable. "NHH Roofing Plus replaced the roof, siding and gutters on our historic cornerstone commercial building in Cambridge. The pitch of the roof was challenging, but their crew handled it without a problem. The siding crews workmanship was impeccable. Our gutters were redesigned by one of their professionals for better drainage. They worked around our business schedule and were always available in a timely manner for questions. "Everything went great! We called them on a Monday and Barack was able to come around to look at the property and give me an estimate the same day. He made some good recommendations for design (railings and the closed underdeck). Since we were calling before their busy season (late March) they were able to start work on Wednesday, just two days after the estimate visit. By midday Friday we had a beautiful new deck! It was built with high quality materials and good design. I'm especially impressed that they were able to make sturdy, level steps on our un-level lawn! Everything looks great and we couldn't be happier. Barack was very punctual in responding to email messages. The project was completed in the amount of time they said it would. The final cost was almost exactly to the estimate. We got some advice for taking care of the deck and they hauled away the old lumber from the demolition. Great service all around!"

"They widened the driveway area by about 6 inches and filled in the space between the asphalt and the new retaining wall with gravel -- a functional and visually attractive solution.  Also, a number of plants we wanted to save adjacent to the top of the retaining wall were dug up and replanted by the Yards of Creativity team during the course of the project. <br /> When doing the work, they were careful to avoid disturbing an existing wood stockade privacy fence located very close to the retaining wall. <br /> The cost estimate was in line with one other one we had obtained, and substantially lower than another one.  We selected Yards of Creativity because of the punctuality and professionalism of the owner, who was very attentive to our needs.  She was on hand for all of the work that was performed, and worked as hard as the rest of her work team.  The constuction site was cleaned up of all debris.  <br /> We did have one issue with the concrete work next to the garage, but that was fixed quickly (within a few days) with no hassle.  The final price was exactly what was quoted originally. <br /> We were quite pleased with the work performed and the end-result is a huge improvement.  The VersiBlock "system" appears to be holding up beautifully this winter, and we understand that it is used by the City of Minneapolis on their retaining wall projects, so we expect that our wall will be functional for decades. <br /> Also, we were able to install a small wought iron railing right into the steps into the back yard -- another good outcome of the project. <br /> <br />"
