"I consider WyattWorks Plumbing the ultimate in professionalism. They are dependable, prompt, efficient, friendly, perform the service they say they will do and complete it with expertise. They review options and prices with you prior to any service being done which allows me to choose the option best for me. There are no price surprises or hidden agendas. Plus, they cleanup after themselves! I couldn’t believe it! They really care about the customer. I highly recommend them. You will not be disappointed."

"I first called Amen Plumbing on Dec. 26th when I discovered a leak under my house. Brittany was so good to work with. She was very friendly and helpful. She was able to get Nick to come out even though it was Christmas weekend. I can not say enough good things about Nick Cain. He came out late that night to repair the leak. This young man is such a hard worker. He is very friendly, respectful, and customer service oriented. I decided to go ahead and replace all the old pipes. Nick and Garrison worked hard for 2 days to make this happen. They were here from 8:00 am until 10:45 pm the second day. These guys worked so hard! I will never hesitate to use Amen Plumbing again. Nick is truly an asset to this company. He is courteous, very knowledgeable, and always on time. Thanks so much for everything!!"

"The work was fine and the technician was professional. The only negative was after I got an estimate from the technician, he refused to honor the 5 percent Angie's List discount. He told my his estimate was as good as it can be based on late day service, whatever that means. The price he quoted was very reasonable and comparable to other service companies, but it was disappointing to learn he would not use the AL discount, especially since I called the number via the AL website."

FAQs for water heater repair or service projects in Fort Mill, SC

Warning signs include fluctuating water temperatures, a pilot light that repeatedly goes out, unusual noises from the tank, or complete heating failure. You might also detect a rotten egg smell, indicating a potential gas leak, or notice water that never reaches the proper temperature. If your water heater is over eight years old and displaying these symptoms, the gas valve is a likely culprit. Professional inspection is recommended, especially if gas odors are present.

Water heater gas valves are not universally interchangeable. Each valve must match your specific water heater's make, model, and specifications. Important compatibility factors include gas type (natural gas vs. propane), BTU rating, connection types, and physical dimensions. Using an incorrect valve can result in poor performance, premature failure, or dangerous gas leaks. Always consult your water heater's documentation or a professional plumber to identify the appropriate replacement valve for your unit.
