"Service provider inspected the heater for winter service and said things looked good overall. But he recommended several maintenance repairs that would cost a few hundred dollars as well. I declined, wanting to have that opinion confirmed by others before investing more than the Angie's Deal amount to have the heater checked for winter readiness. <br />"

"Arrived within 2 hours of my desperate plea for help, my ac was blowing HOT air. He found a wire burnt from it being loose. He explained that today&#39;s service call and diagnostic time would be about 290 dollars ( Sunday afternoon) He explained to me that his company offers a maintenance thing where he checks and cleans my unit twice a year. I bought the maintenance plan and he didn&#39;t charge me a Nicole for a service on a Sunday. Call him and you can fix tour ac before it stops working"

"This company has the best customer service for air conditioning work we have encountered during our 7 years in the East Valley. Their call in service was Courteous and helpful. Both of our air conditioners were not working, and Martin Burgos came out the same day I called. No hard sell for repair costs or unit replacement. In fact, within the hour, both units were up and running. He explained what he did, and answered our questions about the overall condition of our units, which were good, not limping along as we were led to believe by another major HVAC company in AZ. I highly recommend this company and will continue to use to use them for my annual maintenance and any other service."

"I was very pleased with Emergency Air Heating and Cooling. Casey was my technician and he was very through and knowledgeable. Casey took the time to explain what work he was to perform and was on time and called to let me know he was on his way. I would recommend this company and will request Casey next time I need my AC serviced."

FAQs for central a/c service or repair projects in Fort Mcdowell, AZ

A condenser fan motor is a crucial part of your air conditioner that prevents the compressor from overheating. It pulls heat from your AC unit to cool the refrigerant moving through the condenser coils. This allows your system to blow cool air and keeps everything running smoothly.

The most common causes of AC fan motor failure include loss of lubricant in the system due to overheating and a rusted or leaking run capacitor. Poor lubrication can also cause failure in the belt drive, which may impact the AC fan motor. Weather and electrical components can also affect your AC. For example, a storm could send water into your motor windings and damage the internal components.

Air conditioner fan motors last about 12 years on average, though they can last longer if maintained well. This includes keeping them clean and cooled as needed with annual air conditioner checkups. Routine maintenance is essential to catch AC fan issues early. An HVAC inspection can cost between $70 and $500, while AC cleaning services may range from $100 to $400.

A broken AC fan motor may need replacement because this part usually can’t be repaired. Several things indicate it’s time to replace your AC fan motor, including buzzing noises, a constantly running fan, unusually high energy bills, or an aging system. If you notice these signs, call an HVAC pro for help before the faulty motor starts to strain other parts of the AC system.

There are clear warning signs of a bad AC fan motor, including unusual interruptions in the fan operation. The motor might be malfunctioning if you hear weird noises like grinding or rattling or if the fan continues to spin when the unit is off. These indicators compromise your AC’s cooling performance and increase your energy costs. Addressing these issues immediately by contacting a trusted HVAC professional prevents further damage and safeguards your HVAC's efficiency.

Replacing your AC fan motor takes a professional one to four hours. The technician will start by assessing your system and safely removing the damaged motor. If a new part needs to be ordered, it might take a few days. Once the part is available, your pro will install it properly and make sure your system is running smoothly.
