"I have trees in the front of my house. 3 years ago I had a company (Rooter MD) come out and use a high pressure water system to cut the roots out. That cost me $800  The day before I had Rooter MD come out to clear the clog. They charged me $198 to "poke" a hole thru the tree roots of the main line and to clear the laundry room line. However, my laundry tub still did not drain. They told me it was the trap and it would have cost additional money to clear that. They also told me I needed to either pay another $900 for the water jet to fully clear out the tree roots in the main line or pay over $7500 to have my main line replaced or upgraded. Foolishly I let them leave without clearing the laundry tub drain. I tried clearing that drain myself but was not sucessful.
I called Chris from Clog-busters late in the day. He first tried to fit me in but had to schedule me for the next day. He sent his guys out the first thing the next day. They used an "expando-blade" rooter to cut out all of my tree-roots and the cleared the laundry tub drain. they showed me a before and after video of my main drain proving the difference. When they arrived my main drain was already backed up. The $198 I spend with RooterMD was already clogged and basically did nothing.
The video of the drain showed that it was in good shape and these guys told me that tree roots are a common problem that can be resolved by having this expando-blade rooting done every other year. They also told me that they could replace my main for under $4000 if I ever decided to do so.
The bottom line is they are an honest and competent provider that I will be happy to recommend to others and will definitely be using again.

"I installed a sump pump in the garage. My experience was a pretty bad one. Very slow to perform the job, put the wrong pump in and left all the debris in my garage after he did the work. Took 5 days to take it out after repeated phone calls. In the end he did replace the sump pump and fix the errors. He then said he was going to send someone to put in a metal bracket to anchor pipe to the stairs which has not happened yet after 3 weeks. I was honestly very frustrated and did not bother calling him dozen more times for the small issue. I just ended up doing it myself. I was just being generous giving him 3 stars.think twice before hiring"

"I liked the tech that stopped by and provide the quote for the natural gas fired Power Vent water heater replacement. I know they would do a good job on the water heater. They install Bradford White which is a very good water heater. Since it was not the same model and physical size as the currently installed unit, some small modifications would be needed. I went with a smaller local plumber who would install the same AO Smith physical size unit (no modifications needed) and his quote was about $250 less."

"Went well to this point of replacing parts. Then the United needed to have a system leak test and then needed freon put in pump. This was refused by Choice warranty. We were left with a partial repair and a heat pump not able to do it's job."

"He arrived on time, was professional and friendly, and got the job done efficiently and quickly. I'm sure he could tell I knew very little about plumbing overall but dealt with me fairly and didn't talk down to me. He also told me how to prevent the problem from happening again (by wrapping the external line in heat tape and foam insulation pipe) and inspected the rest of the basement to assess the overall health of the sump pump system. "Very prompt response. Steve and his helper arrived at our home same evening within 20 minutes of call prepared to do the job. Steve did a thorough evaluation of the problem we were having. He gave us two options and we chose to buy a new sump pump. He purchased the new pump and cleaned out the area for installation. He did an excellent job on the installation and cleaned up everything afterward all within a couple hours (counting the time it took to purchase the sump pump at Home Depot). We believe his price was fair and would highly recommend him."
