His quote was perfectly reasonable and he was professional and very nice without being pushy. Jorge and his partner came over shortly thereafter and took measurements and a few days later, Mary set up the installation. We did not love the style we chose for our curved stairway and when we explained our mistake, they could not have been nicer. They started the process all over again right away and installed it the way we should have chosen in the first place for no extra charge. Use them, you won't be sorry!"

"Our new Engineered vinyl planking is beautiful. Chris and his guys were courteous and professional. The entire process lasted 3 days. They cleaned up the after the job and hauled away the debris. The only problem was that they did not have a vacuum system on their circular saw when removing the subfloor. There was dust everywhere. They were on time and even came back to tweak a few things. They had a quick response time and were here when they said they would be. I couldn't be happier with my new floor."

"Arkadia Floorings (Mike Osan Mircea) has done a wonderful job of installing lvp in our basement. He is extremely meticulous , worked at a steady pace and completed the job with utmost care. He pulled out the carpets and cleanly packed them for easy disposal. Then he made the basement floor look really new without any costs overrun. The thresholds, shoe base installs, etc were done to tidy up further. For stairs going down to the basement , he pulled the rug out and there were hardwood stairs already. He resurfaced and stained with a color that matched the lvp. This actually reduced our costs . Towards the end of our job , he took extra time to clean up, vacuum and really leave the home slick n span. He also took care of a few extras - like cleaning up /buffing up some parts of existing wood floors elsewhere in the house, all for no extra cost."

"Install and refinish wood floor: Jim Swan&apos;s installed unfinished oak in the office and in the upstairs hallway and refinished a badly damaged foyer and kitchen oak that adjoins the new oak. The finished color is excellent--no more yellow oak on the old floor and all wood blends perfectly. Jordan is an expert. He and Ian were diligent in making sure everything was done well. The customer service provided by Jim and his team was excellent. We plan to have them return next year to replace the carpet with wood in two more rooms."

"Installers did not come on time, two hours late. Then they had to validate that we paid Empire, which took an hour. The estimate of work was totally wrong, we were supposed to get a floating floor but the installers said they could not do that So they instead did a complete teardown of the existing floor and removed all the old tiles. The quarter round was included in the price of the materials but was never installed because we did not get a raised (floating) floor. So I think I was overcharged for the materials which were not used. I spoke to a number of persons at Empire about such issues without any resolution to my satisfaction. Besides all the problems encountered we do like the floor and it nice looking."

After moving forward with the bid, the continued to provide communication even through a couple reschedules due to weather.
