"Company Provided a good estimate (was within range of an estimate received by phone call with a commitment to do the work but the Harrison County company never called back to established a installation date).
Date of estimate we went ahead and scheduled the installation for several days later.
The work crew came and installed the water heater, ensured no leaks, cleaned up and went on their way.
Even though this company is farther away from my house, I would call them for any future plumbing needs and would skip trying to call a Harrison County company.

"mMy boiler type furnace stopped heating the upstairs of my home.  I called Smith and Sons and was politely greeted.  I explained my issue and they scheduled a service call for Monday Morning between 830-9am.  Russ showed up at 845 and walked me thru my system and how everything worked.  He then showed me how to clear the vapor lock (air pocket).  When we were opening and shutting the valve's a water leak started.  Before Russ left all of the leaks had stopped.  15 minutes after Russ left the pressure relief valve started leaking again as well as another valve. I called Smith and Sons again and they had Russ call me.  He called a place about he parts and called me right back.  He was able to come back to my house that same day and install the pressure relief valve and make sure all of the other leaks had stopped.  This company did a great job and you can tell by the professionalism of their service man Russ that they truly care about customer service.  This companies info is now on my fridge.  I now have a HVAC company to call. "

"Our heat pump needed to be replaced and our furnace wasn't as efficient as it could have been so we decided to replace it all. After a consultation Bassett recommended a system for our house that included a furnace and standard air conditioner. We also had zones in our house but because we have an open stairway (in a not that big house) they also recommended doing away with the zones. We went with the recommendation and that first winter (last year) our house was so cold in the winter months. We were told that by letting the fan circulate all the time it would eliminate cold spots. What we didn't realize is that they never inspected or evaluated our current ductwork. It is undulated and as a result the air that circulates is always cold. The upstairs is cold and without a quartz heater in our family room, it too would be cold. We called them back to check and we were told that it seemed to be working fine. Putting a thermometer in the register said that there was heat. Later, in this summer my husband talked to them again anticipating this winter. We were told we might want to go back to having zones. It would only cost us another $1,000 or so to make that change. 

As for installation, that was done very professionally and neatly. They were prompt and polite. I would say to do your own research before Bassett ever comes and be prepared to make a decision based on that rather than what they may recommend. If I could figure out how to put that old furnace back in, I sure would. It worked much better for winter heat than this one does."

"On one of the coldest nights of the year so far (low 2 degrees) our heat pump quit heating. I awoke about 4:30 a,m, because of the chill. We are new to the area so I was not sure who to call, but my first try was to the contractor whose installed the heaat pump 7 years ago and had a sticker on it. After waiting more that 30 minutes fir a response, I then Googled heating contractors near me and called the closest 2 that had strong google reviews. The first of those two to respond was Complete Comfort Heating and Cooling and Am I glad they did tecnician Garrett called me wiithin 10 minutes. I explained to him what was going on and he told me he'd head my way ASAP. About 30 minutes later he called again to say he was on the road and when I mentioned that the filter was in need of replacement, he stopped by Lowes to pickup a new filter for me. He arrived at the houae and spent several hours correcting the problem in expert and professional fashion. I was much impressed and and can tell you that from now on, Complete Comfort will be my regular go to for all heating and cooling needs. They probably aren't the cheapest in the area, but they are reasonable, prompt, friendly, courteous, and impress me as extremely professional. I highly recommend them."

"The young man called ahead about a half-hour of the scheduled time to double check that we were ready.  He then arrived on time, began quickly on task.  We did help move some furniture but wasn't necessary as he posed that he do all the work ... but we pitched in anyway.  Took about two hours to do professional job using a truck-mounted vacuum and shampooing system.  It was a rainy day and damp outside so it took a little longer to dry but with a couple of fans, it dried within a few hours."
