"The Meinen crew, including the carpenter and painters performed an excellent job restoring rotted and defective siding and trim. They removed light fixtures and drain pipes rather than paint around them. They were dependable and professional. The home looked fantastic upon completion. I would highly recommend Meinen Homes,LLC to perform you remodel and or paint work!"

"If you are looking for someone who treats your project as their own, consider giving Dowty's Home Improvements a call. We had 24+ year old single pane windows that frosted up in winter and you could feel a draft. Ron worked with us to select the windows, style, and finish. Everything went really well and we love how things came together. We still have 2 bay windows and some specialty windows to replace in the near future and we'll be contacting Ron again."

"Jason walked me through some concepts and options on the project. We went through some cost savings alternatives, and explored details that could help me save some money. In the end the project was slightly out of my reach, and I decided to wait another year before bringing this back up. If I was given the opportunity to work with Dwelling Rennovations, I would. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"Our basement work / storage area had only one duplex outlet when we moved in. We were running a water softener, dehumidifier, full size freezer and several shop lights off a multitude of extension cords.  Also, the room only had one small pull chain light, with no switch. Total installed two additional overhead fixtures, and put them all on one wall switch. They added a dedicated outlet for our freezer, and one for the softener & dehumidifier.  They also added several other outlets for our workbench, shop lights, etc.  Our panel was full, so they added a sub-panel and whole home surge protection. Additionally, they converted the existing microwave hood to a wall outlet above our cabinets for accent lighting, and added a new dedicated outlet for an over the range microwave.   <br /> The service tech was right on time and very courteous and helpful.  He was very knowledgeable about code issues, and able to work with us to get the exact placement everything "just right".  Since we had not yet mounted our new cabinet & microwave above the stove, he explained the code issues for us, and provided us the proper wall box to allow us to install our cabinet & microwave correctly.  (When the inspector came, he pulled off the cover and looked at the work, and was impressed.  He stated that often, that is done incorrectly, we had a good electrician.) <br /> The service tech even took a bit of time and cleaned up some "messy" wiring in our panel due to previous homeowner DIY.   <br /> All in all, I was impressed with the work, and the service. I would use them again. <br />"

The drywall repairs were phenomenal! Our house has been transformed! Many thanks to all! We are asking them back for an estimate for the exterior painting of our home."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Fredonia, WI

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
