"t. The night before I flew to Arizona to graduate from doctoral school, I had 4 inches of water in my basement. One guy came out at 11: 00 p.m. and tried and tried for about 45 minutes to an hour to clear the pipe, but was not getting anywhere, so I told him to just come back in the morning.I left them an entrance into the house to work on it the next day and left for Arizona. They found that the city pipe to the main sewer collapsed. They called me (I was in O"Hare airport) and let me know that they faxed the city to tell the city to get out and check the pipe.  I called the city to get them to come out immediately (the city said they have 48 hours from the notification). The plumbers also called the city back because it was going to rain hard and I would have 8 inches of water in my basement. So, finally the city attorney called me and I told her that they had to get out there pronto or I would lose my furnace and hot water heater if any more water came in the basement. The attorney got the city crew out the next day. The plumbers checked on it through the whole ordeal and then the owner called me to let me know that the water was out of the basement and my basement was dry. I did the graduation walk with a smile instead of a worry that my basement would be completely flooded.
Another time, my shutoff valves burst and it was raining in my basement (yea really). They came out right away and took care of that before my basement was completely wet. They were kind when they told me that my main shut off valves had to be replaced soon as they too were about to break. Because my house is old, I appreciated them telling me about things that are about to happen before I wake up to yet another plumbing fiasco. (They told me the valves would probably be okay if I did not turn them, but not to wait too long as they were the main valves and then it would have to be shut off at the street.)
They go above and beyond what I would expect any service to do to resolve a plumbing problem I have read the other reviews. I really don't care what they use to light up whatever they have to see with, even if they ask me for my flashlight. I just want the problem fixed so it is really fixed. Everything they have fixed has not been a problem again at all. (Kitchen faucet, 2 sets of shut off valves, bathroom faucet, outside clean out, backup valve, sump pump. All these things have not been a problem at all. They are really kind when I call to ask basic questions.

The scope of work included digging, old sewer line replacement, installing a back flow check valve to prevent future city sewerage backup and refill and level the dirt back to grade. John was very careful and considerate of the landscape during the work with minimal disturbance to the area. He was very efficient and professional from the project scope, quote, schedule and project completion. "Excellent Customer Service! Helped us get our heat back on fast and at a fair price and did not take advantage of us in our time of desperation. A special Thank You to Todd and Tanner, because of you Gilbert Heating has my future business. ***Here's how it all went down: I woke up in the morning to find out we had no heat so I called the company whose sticker was on my furnace - Big Mistake. They sent a technician out and diagnosed the problem as a bad inducer. The quote to replace the inducer was $700. At that price it made me consider putting that money towards the purchase of a new furnace to replace my 12 year old furnace. Which is what I decided to do at which point this other company advised me that they would not be able to install the new furnace until Friday/Saturday. I didn't have heat, so I asked what I what am I supposed to do about heat until Friday/Saturday. They offered to replace the part in my old furnace for to get me through the next 3 or 4 days, until they could install my new furnace, for an additional $150 to the cost of the new furnace. Basically, renting me the part for 3 or 4 days for $150. So, that is when I called Gilbert Heating and another company (who never did call me back) to see if they could install a new furnace sooner to avoid this additional $150 charge. Todd from Gilbert Heating called me back almost immediatly and made arrangements to come right over and quote the furnace replacement. He looked at the furnace and said he would love to sell me a new furnace but I don't need one. He said our furnace looked clean and just needs a new inducer which he could have installed same day for $450 ($250 less than the company I paid $80 to diagnose the problem). Tanner showed up an hour later and replaced the inducer and our heat was back on. Calling Gilbert Heating saved our family vacation scheduled for April. Thank You Gilbert Heating!"

"I called them for my outside faucet and my toilet both were leaking. He was very honest and told me I needed to replace my toilet because my tank through and hey could not help me. H then looked my faucet up and gave me a price to replace. They replaced it today. Their quote was the lowest I received and least amount of time. He replaced it in under 15 minutes everyone else was quoting 1 1/2 hours and almost $300 dollars. Very nice young man. Helped me to set up my hose correctly as I just had shoulder surgery and let me water the flower bed while he completed paper work. They also called three times because the other job was running longer than expected! I will use them again. My dad always took care of these things now he is unable it is nice to have a reliable service."

"Called about leak Sunday morning. Plumber came out Monday, determined it needed replacement and notified Choice, who approved claim and permitted plumber to order new water heater. Thursday new water heater was installed. Was kept updated every day by both Choice and the plumber. Workers left my garage clean and I have hot water. Very satisfied and have recommended Choice Home Warranty on the Nextdoor app."

"Dave did a very fine job. He was professional and helpful. He has special equipment to clean out the dryer vent. We actually had water in the vent. He noticed It was caused by a problem we had outside where the dryer is vented. He also repaired that.  We would contact Dave again if / when we have a project too big for us to do.

"We initially thought that there was a leak in the line for which a quote was provided. Once the line was uncovered to repair the leak it was discovered that the entire line (lead pipe which had been installed when the house was built in 1967) was corroded and would probably continue to spring leaks even after the first was repaired. The contractor recommended that the entire line be replaced although he was more than willing to repair only the leak for the initial estimate of $195. I agreed with his recommendation.
The repair was expected to take several days so the contractor ran a temporary supply line to the house so that we would not be without water.
We were totally satisfied with the work that was completed and that the employees were professional and courteous.
