"My installers Bruno and Pedro did an excellent job. They were two of the nicest guys and their attention to details were excellent. They removed and installed 20 Windows in 6 Hrs. Their clean up afterwards was excellent, they also took off their shoes when they entered the house. When you chose Relief Windows ask for Bruno and Pedro to do the install you can't go wrong."

"Badly. Do not call them! The so-called plumber they sent out was a joke. He quoted $800 to fix the handle. After I pick my jaw up off the floor he said he could tighten it and that might last a while. It did not last for one single turn. I happened to have someone over the next day and they said go to Home Depot and buy a handle and I’ll fix it for you. That person replaced it and it cost me a total of $10 instead of $800. It was not a permanent fix but it definitely got the job done short term! Which is what I asked him for after he quoted the $800. He did nothing to the drain… He put one of those things down that you can buy at Walmart for five dollars it was like a stick with little spikes on the end… Exactly like the one I have under my sink! I expected them to run a long hose/snake down the drain to clear it. Seeing how someone else fixed the handle for free and he did not do anything for the drain I was quite disappointed. I put some Drano down the drain and that improved the situation but not what I was looking for. A few months later… The situation kept annoying me and annoying me so I finally decided to contact them because I had used the service before for other things and been pleased. I thought maybe this was an exception but the person who called me back only added insult to injury. After talking to her I decided I would never use home 360 again."

"Work was done quickly and well. However, they found another problem with the windshield. I did not have them do the work because there was a possibility that it was a warranty issue. When the dealer looked at the "crack" it turned out to be excess glue."

"<blockquote> <ul> <li> <hr /> An appointment was made to receive a quote for a large custom framed mirror. On the day of the appointment a lady named Stacy B. arrived on time, and was professionally dressed. She proceeded to explain the process, measure the space, and had samples of the frames that I could choose from to frame the mirror . After I choose the sample that best complimented my taste, and surroundings ,I asked her if she had an extra sample of the one I had chosen. She said yes, but it was in her car. Before going to the car, it started raining. Not just rain, it was the typical New Orleans summer torrential rain!! She put on a smile, and went to her car to retrieve the sample. She was standing under her SUV's trunk while digging in boxes for the sample. At one point she was getting rained on from the crack of the trunk. She then went to the drivers side to get an umbrella, and resumed looking for the sample. Upon finding the sample she came to meet me on the front porch with the sample in hand. She was pretty drenched! Now that my friends is real customer service! When it came time for the mirror to be installed, 2 guys came in, and said it would only take five minutes. Five minutes it was, no more, no less!!! They were very efficient , courteous, and professional. The mirror looks great, and I am very please with the results, and my dealings with this company. I wish all companies were like this!! </li> </ul> </blockquote> <br />"

"At first all service was fine and professional. The installer came to measure and the next day I received the price list and placed the order. When the order came in, only 2 windows arrived. The third was on back order by a week. It actually took two weeks. The lady who works in the office (Chrystal) did not bother to call me to let me know about the delay. I had to call her. When it did arrive and an I stall date was scheduled, the installer came early. Not typically a problem except that the glass was for my bathroom and it was so early in the am that I had not yet been able to get dressed after sending my family off to work/school. Within a month I noticed a crack (they claim scratch) coming from underneath the top of the frame. I made another appointment for the installer to come take a look the next afternoon. He came ale in the morning while I was out running errands and left a note. Unprofessional as I was not here to look at it with him. I again had to call the office to find out what was going on with my glass. Several timesI had to do this to inquire about delivery b/c she would not return my calls in a timely manner (by timely I mean at least by closing of the following day). Finally the glass arrived and an install date was scheduled but she would have to call the day before to give me the 2 hour time frame. I did not receive that call. I called the office the morning of my install to find out that I was first on the list so should be around 8am. I quickly got dressed. 10am came around and no installer. I left a note on the door that I had to run an errand. I had waited 2 hours and the rest of my day depended on this one errand being done. While I was out, I received a call that he was there. The window is fixed and will hopefully remain that way. I will not use them again. <br />"

FAQs for new windows service projects in French Settlement, LA

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
