"Mr. Ferrell came to my home and picked up my dinosaur of a computer...a 2005 Dell Desktop.  For all intents and purposes, it was barely running.  If I was lucky, I was able to check my gmail and sometimes send a response.  Mr. Ferrell picked up my computer on his DAY OFF (Friday) and returned it to me on LABOR DAY.  He said that my computer had over 7,000 viruses on it. It was the most he had ever seen!  What I got back from him on Labor Day was the computer I purchased in 2005, but much better.
Mr. Ferrell installed an ENTIRE new operating system, he upgraded my ram, he re-installed his FREE virus protection.  Mr. Ferrell backed and restored ALL of my data.  And, if that was not enough, he updated my hardware system. And, he charged me $125 which I think is an incredible price due to the fact he gave me a BRAND NEW COMPUTER.
Mr. Ferrell is extremely professional, friendly, and incredibly efficient with his time and your money.  I just started using my new computer this week and I am in heaven.  No more viruses...no more waiting 10 minutes to pull up a website...and no more having to pull out all of my cords out of my modem and rebooting my computer.  I am thrilled with the job that Mr. Ferrell did and I would recommend him to anyone.

"I planned to subscribe to DSL internet service, but wanted the telephone wiring changed so that I did not have to install any telephone line filters inside the house. This involved installing an exterior DSL splitter and changing the wiring of the interior jacks. Also, the wiring that went from the telephone company's Network Interface Box mounted on the outside of the house to the jacks mounted inside was damaged, so I wanted that replaced. "Even though I have read some negative comments about their plumbing's prices, I wanted to give them a chance as I had a fairly good experience on the HVAC side. Unfortunately, I am afraid the comments were right! I called them for a leak in my basement related to a water drain from the second floor bathrooms. Before starting, Matt explain to me he had to go through a "pluming diagnostics" of the entire house and systems that is a flat fee of $497 (based on the age of the house) for: Unlimited Time to find the problem, One level 1 to 2 repair included with diagnostic, performance check, whole home water quality analysis, including chlorine, water hardness, and total dissolved solids, confirmation that system is safe, reliable, and energy efficient, Applies to equipment 6-20+ years old, main drain, water pressure/water temperature over 1500 sqft, tankless water heater. Basically a fee to "find the leak" and anything else that could be wrong in my house in order to give me suggestions for additional repairs that go on top of the "diagnostic fee", unless it is a level 1 or 2 repair that you probably never have anyway...! I my case Matt's listed 3 options: - $4.193 (repair copper drain, new washing machine hoses, install pressure valve and new 50 Gal water heater) - $1.467 (repair copper drain, new washing machine hoses, install pressure valve). Meaning $2.726 for the water heater alone. Or $631 (repair copper drain, new washing machine hoses). Meaning $836 for the pressure valve alone! I told him I could do the machine hoses myself and asked him how much it would be just to fix the leak => $364. That means the charge to change 2 $10 hoses is $267!! By the way, they don't deduct the $79 service call if you are not part of the Membership Program, charge an additional $14 for "Transfer Fuel Surcharge" and didn't discount the $50 coupon. Bottom line my invoice was $497 + $79 + $14 + $364 = $954. Fortunately, I talked to Kristy from Customer Service the following day and got the $50 coupon applied and got an additional $50 off after my open and direct discussion with her. Thank you Kristy. Still, I believe the all process was a bit complicated for a leak and would have to try a different plumber next time. Further more, what's going on with the "Plumbing Diagnostic" fee if they have to come again later on during the year for another issue? I surely wouldn't need another "check" of my entire house..."
