"Jim with TSB was one of 3 contractors we brought in to quote what amounted to $90k of renovations for our home in Grand Lakes. Our scope was a Kitchen and Masterbath remodel, with fresh painting throughout. We commissioned Jim for the work based on his estimate, which was competitive, along with the fact that he was the only contractor who provided a time estimate for the project. We were pleased to discover that by hiring Jim, we received the trifecta of a project that was of good quality and workmanship, was delivered on time, and delivered on budget. A few instances occurred where Jim's expertise was a big asset to our project. We were short a few bricks to finish up some exterior work, and with the bricks originally used on the home being discontinued, Jim knew a business that still kept a few in stock, allowing us to finish our project with a perfect match. Jim also kept open lines of communication with us, so we knew what was coming up each week and what selections needed to be finalized. My last recommendation for anyone considering to hire Jim, or anyone, for their renovation project, is to consider the lead times for some of the items you wish to order. Lots of supply chains are disrupted right now, which means if there's a particular sink, appliance, light fixture, or faucet that you want in your project, consider ordering early to ensure you get what you want. "Brandon was very professional and helped us decide how to create what we needed while keeping a natural flow to the house and staying within code on access dimensions etc. He has been very responsive to any email and phone queries and was punctual. There were no cost ovberruns except for additional items that we asked him to do and the price for those was very reasonable. (We had just bought the house, so as we got more familiar with the house we found several small repairs that needed to be done )
The subs that came in were all very professional and courteous and made sure the work area was cleaned up every day. The work has been completed to a high standard.

"Team did not know what they were doing, always confused. Starz overquoted and underperformed. They used nails instead of screws, causing deep holes, missing nails, loose ends, cheap, splintered wood, and deck was 50 inches tall, requested 52. There were various cuts in the wood, wood splitting, a piece of wood loose where they cut the post hole and didn't secure it to the deck. For the pool, they used regular sand, not compaction sand. The bottom of the pool is bumpy. They put the pool coves behind the uprights holding the frame firm. They had to take the pool apart to take out the coves and put back the uprights. The first time they installed the pool, it was 2 inches higher than the deck. They broke down the pool and removed sand on one side to meet up with the deck. The pool is lopsided and water is 6 inches deeper on one side. I had to pay an additional $300 for them to reinstall. The second time they installed the pool, it still did not flush with the deck. I have to redo it all."

"Colony Builders are the best in the business! Our house was impacted by the Watson Grinding Explosion and the damages were severe as we are located 800 feet away. We had blown out windows structural damage, collapsing ceilings, etc. Once we decided to hire Colony Builders they started the next week! We did a complete remodel, replacing the entire house with siding, all the windows, all the carpet with laminate including our staircase, our deck & fence in the back yard and tore down our two door garage to make one large automatic one. The crews that came out we're hardworking and communicated with us every step of the way. Our repairs began on April 16th and finished within 2 short months on June 2nd!!! A complete remodel and they worked diligently to get us back to our house as soon as possible. Long story short HIRE THEM! You'll be so happy with the end result. I know if we need anything in the future this company will be our go to."
