"Leroy was excellent! Very professional. He came on time even in this bad weather and diagnosed the problem. The switch did work when he turned it on a of couple times but he said it wasn't the switch but the fireplace was very dirty. He cleaned it thoroughly rearranged the logs and started it several times. Works and looks great! Will rehire when needed. Very pleased. Only thing was he didn't keep his mask on at all times but still would rehire. Excellent job!!"

"Mike came out to do the estimate and was very knowledgeable and friendly. His bid was priced right for us, so we decided to hire him. He showed up on time and kept us informed through phone and email throughout the entire process. We couldn't have been happier with the work he did. He even came out for an emergency pipe fix when our electricians accidentally punctured one of the water lines. He was great to work with and we would definitely hire him again if we needed his services. We have also recommended him to all of our friends!"

"Colby Plumbing provided first rate plumbing services for us, They are very courteous, friendly and highly knowledgeable professionals. They arrived promptly and kept us informed of all issues and decisions. Their work is immaculate and very reasonably priced. We appreciated their prompt response to our burst pipe fiascos and were impressed at the number of tests they performed to ensure the leaks were truly fixed before they left the site. They exhibited great professionalism by wearing masks and observing social distancing during the COVID times. Great group of people - highly recommended!"

"Earlier this Summer I was struggling to find a company with qualified individuals to install a gas line and hook up my new gas fireplace in Evergreen.  The competition was able to quote me prices but each time I mentioned that they failed to provide an accurate quote with all services that I requested the prices continued to go up.  As you know just because you finalize scope doesn't necessarily mean that the price should be higher.  Thankfully I found Reign of Fire because I couldn't be more pleased with how they handled the initial Sales call to the actual installation and return visits to make sure everything was operating properly.  They explained how the process worked and everything turned out perfect!  FIVE STARS OUT OF FIVE. <br /> -Patrick <br />"

FAQs for gas piping projects in Georgetown, CO

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
