"Jorge did a fantastic job for us; I would highly recommend him for drain clearing services. We had another national franchise sewer/drain cleaning company come in first to look at our clogged mainline drain. This "reputable" franchise wanted to charge me over $13,000 to clear debris and roots from the line and install a sewer liner. I came to Angi to find other professionals for a second opinion and after speaking with Jorge had him come give me a free estimate. Before he did anything, he put out blankets and buckets to protect my property. He then opened the drain, used a camera to view the entire length of the drain, and concluded we only needed to shave out roots that were blocking the flow down the drain. Two others confirmed the same. Jorge quoted us a reasonable price. We booked him the next day. Jorge showed up on time, did the same protective prep work, and completed the agreed upon shaving of the roots. Afterwards he took more video to show us the now cleared drain. 5 star"

"While looking for a plumber to inspect and replace a leaking water heater, I found Rapid Repairs.  I called the number, and was directed to send a text message if I needed a emergent response.  After only a few minutes, I got a response in a text message addressing my issue.  They were professional and answered my questions as best he could without being at my house.  I even got estimates based on my answers.  The only reason I did not utilize their service was that I needed hot water immediately, and they were already on multiple service calls, meaning the earliest they could come out would be Monday.

"The crew showed up early on the date provided by Mr. Froais.  The gutters were cleaned; some of the new guards were installed, and they left the broken (replaced) ones for my inspection."

"A hard rain caused the patio drain of our 100+year old house in Brooklyn to back up, flood the patio and prevent us from flushing our toilets. (You said you wanted detail so here goes.)  Instead of going into the sewer, the contents of the toilets emptied onto the patio. (Gasp!)   After one plumber worked for three hours he couldn't solve the problem, and two other plumbers (one from Angie's List) passed on even trying. One plumber said we need a "drain specialist" and referred us to Kenny at Response Service Group.
When I called Kenny his response was immediate, detailed and professional. He took time over the phone to ask me several questions to help him assess our situation. "Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
