"I originally phoned Eric, 4.5 years ago, during the build out of our veterinary clinic. I needed a matte finish, non-slip, easy clean, no grout and super durable (20 + years) floor. Eric came to my location, the same day, to explain the process and show me samples. Eric also directed me to another vet clinic, where I could see the very same floor I wanted. I was able to see for myself how the floor was holding up and talk to the people who used it everyday and were responsible for cleaning it. Eric was attentive to our timeline. His staff was courteous and professional. It’s no small task coordinating the timing of grinding and prepping the concrete, laying down the layers of concrete coating and getting the walls painted without trashing the paint or the floor. "Appointment was easy to arrange and the provider was very responsive.  In fact, he allowed us to use his contractor number to achieve a discount on the paint!  The painter was on time and spent great deal of time masking off the area to be painted and placing plastic on floor to prevent damage and spills. We had a special of 8 hrs of a interior painting.  The job wasn't quite finished but it was no fault of the painter.  His work was excellent and the care for our home was superb.  Highly recommend this provider.

"I moved into my house in 1995. There was all ready an in-ground (plaster) pool when we moved in. It had been built in 1990 by Sylvan Pools. The pool was beautiful until around 2010. There were a couple of spots at the bottom of the steps where the re-bar was showing through. So, I decided to have it re-plastered in 2012. I thought they did a good job, at first. The last day the worker, who put water into the pool, left a stain. Okay, I put up with that. Soon after, I tried to turn on the pool light & it didn't come on. It was flooded with water. Okay again, since I never use the pool light. But, starting about 3-4 years ago my pool has started to get more & more stains in it. We live in Phoenix Arizona. We don't close our pool & the pump is run everyday. This year we have had a terrible time with algae. While dealing with it I'm finding more & more hairline cracks in the plaster. "The original pool looked great for 20+ years. This one maybe 4 or 5 years. ""ADEQUATE"" seems" "to be the ""norm"" anymore.""

"From start to finish MIke Distrud, owner of Pavers and More was the epitome of professionalism.  I had tried to just get an estimate for pavers for weeks from other friend-referred companies and it was as if I couldn't get a company to take our money. I'm so glad that other companies dropped the ball because when I got on Angie's List and saw Pavers and More's clearly posted prices, I thought there must be some hidden fees, but at least could get a ball park perspective of what the job was going to cost.
When I emailed with my photos, Mike Distrud got back to me within hours.  I spoke to him on the phone that day, even though it was a holiday and he was really ill.  He then quoted me over the phone based on my submitted scale drawing (provided the job was going to end up to scale) and directed me where to look at the pavers that we'd need to use and approximate date that he could perform the work.
I went and looked at the pavers at Marvel - chose Tierra Norte, a beautiful mix that Phoenix Pavers manufactures and sent Mike a message via Angie's List.  He came by to submit hardcopy of quote (the same as he quoted via telephone), get half up front, inspect the site and confirmed the same approximate date of service.  Sure enough when that week came, he emailed and said we'd be on the books that week.
When the day came, his crew came out early, looked at my drawing, let me paint on the ground the outside of the plan (I'm very particular about the organic shape the deck was going to take) and they got to work.  It was the week of July 4th, very hot and humid but these guys didn't slow down at all.  Mike checked in on his crew to ensure things went well.  Job was done in one day - the pavers are GORGEOUS and I am thrilled beyond belief.  
He was super pro from start to finish and I wish everyone would do business like Mike Distrud.   CLONE THIS GUY!

"Overall the experience was great, particularly since I'm sure I was not the best of clients.  I was responsible for prepping the walls.  On the first day when he was to wallpaper the mural, I had not prepped the wall correctly.  Sid cheerfully prepped the wall for me so the mural could be wallpapered and left to start the following day.   There was two windows that had to be dealt with on the wall and Sid did a great job with dealing with the window cut outs.The mural turned out fantastic and I have had many compliments on it.  
My two bathrooms were also to have been prepped by me before Sid came to do them and they were not quite ready and Sid had to come back.  He did not grumble or complain and was very professional.   When the bathrooms were finally ready to be wallpapered, Sid did a wonderful job.  Both bathrooms turned out great.
If I need any wallpapering done in the future, I will sure to call on Sid!
