"Hats off to Daniel W. from Western Rooter who installed a water filtering system in my garage. Right from speaking with him on the phone, he was courteous, friendly, and very knowledgeable in his craft. You would think that companies would offer you their premium package right from the beginning but not Daniel. Instead, he asked what I was looking for and took the time and effort to send me multiple filtering systems (including Amazon choices) to choose from. This gesture tells you that he is looking for the customer's best interest at hand which is outstanding. Once I selected my choice, he thoroughly explained the contract and servicing process as well as answered all the questions I had. No big complicated words or complex contracts to decipher but simple and easy was the way Daniel pitched it. All in all, Western Rooter needs to hire more professional, knowledgeable, and charismatic people like him as he is a prime example of excellent customer service. I plan to use his services in the future and will definitely refer him to neighbors, friends, and family. Thank again Daniel W."

"Unfortunately there was a defective fitting that caused a pipe to burst. The house was vacant so we didn't learn about it until the next day. Alvin bent over backwards to repaire the damage, replace the ruined water heater, and make us whole. He even changed the water heater to a tankless model because the location of the ruined water heater didn't meet code and tankless was our only option."

"Overall: I would say a "B" because i'm still missing that piece. They should have followed up, because thats what they'd said they were going to do. I didn't go around really pricing other places, I've used Red-Lilly before and they've done good work with me, so, thats the main reason- I called RedLilly mainly and wound up wit Plotke side answering, and they said they are together now. I guess Plotke is now buying out RedLilly. So it doesn't matter which one you call these days. The work was, I think, well done. They are just sometimes not careful with a persons property, I would say. From this and from other occasions. They should put a cloth down or something like that, be careful, Remember to apply a cloth on a fixture before you apply the pliers on it so as not to scratch. They didn't clean up well after themselves. He showed up unannounced early. So he was supposed to show up like at about 10 O'clock in the morning instead he showed up like at 8:30 in the morning. So I was like " You are supposed to be here later, I'm not ready for you yet." I had things to do that morning. In the future, it depends on what the problem is, it depends; is there a special going on, on something that I need , that I can get on Angie's List. It depends. Other times they have done really well but now that they are merging with the other company it's not as good as it used to be. To improve there service: Follow through and cleaning up after themselves. Friendly staff"

"I contacted California Drains because my parent's home was completely backed up to the point where dirty water was coming out from the drains inside and outside their home. They promptly answered and booked me in the same day. They were able to contain the water from continuing to come out of the drains overnight and returned the next day first thing in the morning to get the problem fixed. Price was very reasonable, and the workers were very professional. Left everything clean and drains were completely cleared. It has been months since they came and there has not been an issue since. 10/10 will highly recommend to family and friends."
