"A few weeks ago our gas hot water heater died. We had never used Valdel Plumbing before but were extremely impressed with the entire experience. We found them on Angie's list as being highly rated and there's a reason for it. We called them at 7:30 in the morning and by 11:30 AM had hot water and that's not exaggerating! Their specialist, Steve Ault was awesome and very knowledgeable. He quickly got to work dismantling the old unit. He even had a new heater and all the parts on his truck so there wasn't even a delay in waiting for parts or a new heater to be delivered. He also installed a drip pan, a pressure regulator and re-routed some of the exhaust piping for better venting. The price they charged seemed to be in line with the work performed. Obviously, based on our first time experience, we'd highly recommend Valdel and Steve for any residential plumbing work. Thanks Valdel!"

The estimator Mike, took time measuring every room to be sure we get just the right size unit needed for our house. (An estimator, from another company, didn’t size all the rooms, wanted to put in a smaller boiler and at a higher cost!). The installation was painless. The work was done in one day which included removal of our old system. The new system is extremely efficient and we already have noticed significant savings on gas and electric. "This review is encompassing several jobs we had contracted with Phil and his superb assistant, Steve, that occurred over the course of several weeks and several trips. We called Phil when we saw a small puddle forming under our electric hot water heater. We had discussed this situation during our first major job with Phil, so we knew it was a matter of time before our heater would need to be replaced. He determined over the phone that it was an emergency, sent his crew out to prepare as he went to get the heater itself and by that afternoon, early afternoon, it was all done. In the interim, his assistant, Steve, replaced an outdoor spigot and by doing so, we found a slow leak somewhere in that indoor-to-outdoor piping system that was showing up right outside the house itself. So we made plans for them to return to do that job. They returned and this and the other smaller plumbing concerns got taken care of, again, efficiently and quickly. Phil and his assistant, Steve, makes sure we are not only informed of best is going on and what they need to do, but why and we are taken into the process of brainstorming solutions in every step of that process. We believe that to be essential and so we are writing about this in our review. To us, it shows a concern and respect for us, the employers, in this situation, that we have found to be lacking in some other contractors.
