He even drained my other a/c unit just to make sure that I would not have an issue with that one next. Their employee provided me with honest information that I needed to know. I recommend Walmer for anyone with an a/c or heating issues. Also I highly suggest that you get on their yearly if not their 6 month maintenance service plan. "Once I posted the project on Home Advisor, this company promptly replied with a desire to bid on the job. Also, when I called them, an actual person answered the phone - and she was friendly, and seemed very excited to be able to help me. She answered all my questions and even acknowledged that, if I was to find someone else to come sooner, it would be fine to cancel my appointment. She guaranteed a technician would be here between 4-8PM. The technician called to say he was on his way and arrived at 5:30pm. He promptly diagnosed the problem, replaced the part that was faulty, and warned us of any potential issue we might encounter in the near future, after he assessed our unit age and condition. He made some recommendations, but was NOT pushy trying to sell us additional parts or service. I can certainly appreciate and recommend this company."

"The install was seemingly ok. However,  I always like to be on site to make sure things are done to my standard. I had to do some small reworking on the returns, so the larger unit would be able to pull enough air. I am ok with this, since they would have added to my price for construction costs.
The unit was installed and everything was good. However, when I returned from work after the first day to check the inside of the return for seals, etc, I noticed that there was a large amount of debris from the install, RIGHT BELOW THE INTAKE! There is a reason filters are put on the returns, and it's to prevent crap like construction debris from filling the cavity below the unit. These guys got done with the job, sealed everything excellently, but forgot to do the most important part - CLEAN out the debris.
Fortunately, I found it early, and it has not caused any issues, YET. But I assure you, if this unit so much as makes a funny noise, they will be replacing it on their dime.

"By the time the service rep was contacted and he called us, we had purchased the part and repaired the air conditioner unit ourselves. We had hire the service company to do a complete service on the unit on June 23,2022. I would recommend Freedom Heating and Air to anyone needing service. They were very professional and did a thorough job. They explained what they were doing from beginning to end. We were shown pictures of before and after as they did the work.
