"LG front load washing machine stopped working after trying to wash large area rug with "rubber" non-skid backing (DON'T do this. I tried to clean out drain, but the clog was too far back and too big for me to dislodge. Looked at appliance repair suggestions on Angie's List - Coldappliance was one of the first listed with all A ratings. Read some of the reivews and the 2nd review was from someone who had a similar problem with GE front load machine. Call Coldappliance and explained my problem and scheduled an appointment for the next day. Alan called that morning and asked if we could reschedue our appointment due t a medical issue and offered a discount on his service charge as compensation for rescheduling. When he arrived for the appointment knew exactly what was wrong, cleared the clog and made a couple of suggestions as to how to prevent some of the problems that sometimes occur with these machines due to soap residue and hard water build-up. The only charge was the discounted service call charge. Quite fair for what he did, especially when you consider what other servcie types charge simply to come to your home. Would definity recommend him and use him again when needed.

"We are very satisfied with our purchase of Kinetico water treatment products, including a water softener and an under sink reverse osmosis (RO) water filtration system. We found that the hardness of the city water from our local utility was on the high side, resulting in spotty glasses and wash not coming out clean. We also were concerned about mineral deposits accumulating in our pipes and water heater over time, which could lead to very expensive repairs. These issues have been completely eliminated after installing the Kinetico water softener. An added bonus is a nice ?feel? to the water now when showering, with lots of suds and a fresh, clean rinse. Also, we are enjoying our crystal clear, filtered water from the under sink RO unit for drinking and cooking.  It tastes great and is nearly 100% free of chemicals and contaminants. A few days later, I called the office with a couple of questions and the ladies were able to take care of my needs on the spot. "Minuteman responded within minutes of my call for an emergency. Our water heater went out in our new home which meant we had no hot water. I had a call from them within minutes of my inquiry and then a follow up call scheduling the appointment for Monday. I called them on Saturday. I got a return call that said they would be able to come out on Sunday. A technician was at my home on Sunday to do a detailed diagnosis and then returned on Monday to do a complete replacement of our tankless water system. Additionally, since there was so much work, he returned on Tuesday to complete the job and cancelled a personal appointment to make it happen. I was very pleased with their wok and value."
