"We had such a great first experience with Al righting the electrical wrongs in our house that we hired him again to have a gas line put in for our gas dryer. Having never hooked up a stove himself, my husband was weary of doing so and we asked Al for help in this matter as well. He spent over 4 hours making sure the gas line was put in properly (our house is unique in its many wiring/electrical challenges that it poses; the stove took almost no time at all) and he even made a trip to Home Depot to get the right parts for us. He is so sweet and kind and a consummate professional. Even our two-year-old son who is generally a little weary of strangers took to him immediately. Thank you so much for your professionalism and kindness, Al. We also appreciate your sense of humor!"

"Paul and his crew professionally installed the metal roof over a shingled roof on our two car detached garage. They arrived when they said they would and finished inside of one day. All debris was cleaned up and hauled off and a rolling magnet was used across the yard area several times to pick up any nails, screws or other metal scrap. We have been very pleased with the work that this contractor does and would not hesitate to contact him regarding any work we may need done in the future."

"They did an excellent  job in building my new  railings and support beams for the entire  length of my front porch. They tore down my old rotted wood railings and support beams and did a good job cleaning up and disposing the old material. I would use them again for any re-modeling work needed outside or inside my home. They were very professional in their work   and finished the job completely in the time frame that was written in the estimate. <br />"

"The package was to include caulking and minor repairs, all exterior painting, washing and prepping of all surfaces, and labor. Paint was to be paid for by the homeowner. We ALSO had to purchase the caulking, the blue tape and papers for covering the windows. They were to start on either March 31 or April 1, but when I called Mike to let him know they could start on Apr. 1, he said they had another job to do that day, and they would start on April 2. They did start on April 2nd, but never showed up until almost 10 in the morning, and the same thing happened on the two following days. Mike did very little of the actual work, he left many, many times, especially on the first 2 days. He seemed to spend a lot of time on his cell phone, when the others were working. His "helpers', Julian and Marty, did 90% or more of the actual work, and they worked well. On the third day, when they thought they were done and were packing up to leave, we had to point out to them areas that needed to be touched up or finished. They also had to use our ladders which were in our garage, as they didn't seem to have any of their own. <br />     I also hired Mike to pressure wash our pool deck and fence, and we'd agreed on a price ($200) but the work was done by Marty and Julian, again. Mike told me at least 3 times during the course of the 3 days that he hadn't been paid by Angie's List yet, that Angie's List took 30% of his pay, and asked more than once about the price of the pressure washing. I told him that I paid up front for the entire job when I contracted him on Angie's List. We were considering having some additional staining or painting work done to the fence by Mike, but changed our minds by the third day. I feel that he may be having some financial stress, but that is not my concern with a contractor. I expect the contractor to keep his personal problems to himself. <br />"

"Part of my roof needed to be repaired. Mr. Smith diagnosed the problem, proposed alternative solutions, and made a recommendation. We accepted his proposal, and he had a crew at my place the next day. It took about 3 days. The men he sent were polite and efficient. They arrived promptly, worked diligently, and cleaned up afterwards. The quality of the work is excellent, and I would recommend this firm."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Graceville, FL

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
