"Nick and crew did a fabulous job in relocating existing wiring, installing new lights and replacing our old bathroom exhaust fans with new ones. I highly recommend Hometown for all of your electrical and HVAC needs."

"KM Heating and Air was truly exceptional in every way single way. Miguel came to quote repairing our existing furnace and quote a new furnace. He was knowledgeable, friendly and very low pressure. We ended up replacing our 11 year old furnace with a new Lennox (I wish we would have knew about KM then). We were offered a fair price for a dual stage furnace and decided to go with their maintenance program as well. When Miquel left, we brought up my garbage cans, which was way above and beyond what we’re accustomed to. Jordan came for installation and was very professional, super hard working and took the time to chat with me about the Brewers before he left. The installation looks amazing, the furnace is whisper quiet and doesn’t run nearly as often. If you’re replacing or repairing your furnace or AC (our central air is also from KM) you would be foolish to not at least hear what they have to say. We’re a customer for life."

"Took awhile to get installed but did a good job at a fair price"

"Very pleased with our new air conditioner installation. The salesman was very nice and explained everything to my satisfaction. The installers were efficient and knowledgeable as well. They showed up exactly on time and were finished earlier than I expected. Work areas were cleaned up, inside and out. Not even any metal shavings in the grass where the new ducting was cut. One of the nice gentlemen even explained the new thermostat they installed. I highly recommend Southport Home Services."

"Swimmingly. I interviewed quite a number of HVAC companies for this job by sending out an RPF (Request for Proposal), and Bob Mamayek was unquestionably the most thorough in his on-site evaluation. Installation crew was fantastic. This is a small shop, and it was a true pleasure to have a team of regular guys just getting the job done. I recommend them without reservation. I almost gave them a B for responsiveness because Bob doesn't do a lot of email, but I realized while typing that this would be completely unfair, for two reasons. A) Bob might not respond to email with email, but he did always respond with a phone call. Frankly, that is better on many counts. B) This ignores the amazing response to my RPF, which was both timely and thorough. So, really, this says more about my email-centric life than Mamayek's responsiveness."

"Shane was able to schedule a prompt appointment. He arrived on time and performed a thorough diagnostic on the furnace. He identified an issue I was unaware of and corrected the problem with the air conditioner using parts that were still under warranty. I will gladly use his services again."

"Jim was very helpful and personable to work with.  I had recently moved to the Huntsville area and was unable to connect my wireless printer.   There were also some things going on with my laptop that made me suspect a virus had somehow gotten on to it, it was running more slowly than usual, and I wasn't happy with the Win7 configuration I had done when I bought the computer.  Jim came in and assessed the problems and we agreed on a time for him to take the laptop and reinstall the OS.  He was able to get the wireless connection to work as well.  He took the computer on a Friday evening and returned it Sunday evening in prime condition.
A few weeks later I  got an error message while reinstalling my accounting software so I called Jim.  He talked me through the problem over the phone and I was able to get the program installed so I could use the program.
Jim is great to work with, his pricing is very fair, he is prompt and reliable.  I will definitely use his services again.

"Nice guys, but the service just seems kind of pointless. they put a brush on a drill and push it down the vents and returns, then they vaccuum. Left some mess behind. Meh. Not worth it.

"Politely said, Sparky is the boss.
We needed electricity and HDMI ran from a cabinet in our great room up above our fireplace so we could mount a TV.  Also needed cable and electricity ran to a wall in our master bedroom so we could mount our TV on the wall.
Sparky showed up on a Friday afternoon, five minutes early.  Assessed the situation, and before he left, said he would look into how much parts/etc would cost, and he would call me with a bid.  Sunday night I received a text from him with a bid, we set up a time for him to come for the install on 8/22 at 9am.
Sparky showed up at 8:59, and got to work.  I came home from lunch to outlets installed where I had asked, cable ran, everything was great.  He could not find the specific outlet cover for AC / Cable, but it will not be visible once the TV is mounted, so it is not of real concern.
I was a little uncomfortable mounting the brackets for our TV on the walls, as the studs were located in odd places - and I didn't trust myself to mount a $1,000 60" plasma anywhere that wasn't on a small stand.  ha!
I asked if he would mind installing the mounts if I kicked him some extra $$, and he gladly obliged to stay longer than he had originally intended.  He even went so far as to use his own screws/mounting bolts that were FAR superior to the ones that were provided in the kit.
Couldn't be happier.  Should we plan on doing any other electrical work / lighting in the future, Sparky will be our first call.
