"Called with a slow draining tub problem. Jed was out on vacation, but took my call and gave me some practical advice on how I could likely remedy the problem on my own, and gave me the name of another plumber he recommended in his absence.

"Jonathon is always very helpful and experienced when it comes to fixing our splits....little did we know that the people who put our siding on put a nail into one of the lines that held the freeon for the splits. He fixed in so we won't melt in the 90 degree heat!!"

"Came out on time. Presented two offers. Snaked drain and used camera to detect any other blockage. Cleaned up after. Had to come back a second time to install a part they needed to order. Did a great job."

"I had Grapids out last year to replace my furnace and put in central air and did not hesitate to call them when a water line broke in my house and needed repair. We have known for a while that our water heater needed replaced and got a quote to get that done along with the repair. As we had old steel water li es in the house we also had those replaced while they were here. We called them on Tuesday morning, had our prices by Tuesday afternoon and our water lines and water heater all replaced by Wednesday afternoon. They made sure to clean up their things prior to leaving. Coen and Mark and their team did a great job."

"Chris was great. He was punctual, professional, and polite. From my description of what had happened with the toilet overflow, he was able to use the right tools for the job the first time. Chris answered all my questions and gave me helpful tips for common plumbing issues, such as how to know if your toilet bowl is leaking. He checked all the water pipes, drains, and connections. He also noticed that my washer hoses were worn and suggested a type that would give me better wear. Chris wore shoe guards and left the place clean. This was a $99 Coupon Deal and I felt that I got my money worth!

"On 1st unit, techs added a lot of freon and cleared the blocked drain line from the blower. The continuous running on the the second unit has been a recurring problem that had been treated prior as thermostat problem. The problem has always returned after thermostat replacement. The AAA tech is the first to examine the blower thoroughly and discover a bad module as the problem. Hopefully, this will be a lasting fix."

"To make a long story short, the day after he performed the above work another toilet in the house developed a very minor leak around its wax base. This toilet is directly above where he had soldered, in my basement, one of the new spigots to the existing copper pipe.
Bob said these were unrelated and I ordinarily would tend to agree. However, it seems unlikely a wax seat, which had never leaked before, would simply begin to leak on its own only hours after work had been done immediately around it. I was left wondering if he had used the toilet drain pipe as leverage while disconnecting the copper pipe right next to it (which took some force and some banging). I don't know how else to explain such an unlikely coincidence. The bottom line was I had a new problem to fix.
As for the toilet fill valve and flapper he replaced, he did not install the valve to code (not high enough in the tank) nor properly install the refill tube. The kit's instructions read: "WARNING: Do not shove refill tube down overflow pipe. This may cause significant water waste." Bob shoved the refill tube down the overflow pipe. He also used an older kit; newer, more water-efficient valve kits are available.
(To keep this review short, I'm omitting other aspects of his work I was also unhappy with.)
Bob did schedule and arrive promptly, which got me out of a bind as I was preparing to leave town, and he charged a fair price. But in addition to not solving one problem, he created at least two additional problems for me to fix."
