"My house to install HVAC system is in Virginia Beach, Virginia."

"I came home from work to find our 40-gallon water heater was not working (it was working that morning). The pilot was out and I could not get it re-lit (I do know how to light a pilot) After checking a number of companies on Angie's List, I contacted DB's Plumbing and Drain. Although it was almost 6pm, a very nice person answered the phone and I explained my dilemma. I was told they could send someone that night but would have to charge an after-hours rate. I was reasonably certain what was wrong would not be a simple fix like re-lighting a pilot so scheduled a visit for the following morning between 10 am and 12 noon. Michael D arrived shortly after 10 am. He was very courteous, polite and professional. Before entering my home, he donned a pair of shoe covers which was kept on as long as he was in the house. He diagnosed the problem as being a failed main burner system. As the water heater was 14-years-old, I weighed the cost of replacing just the main burner system on such an old unit against replacing the unit itself. I opted for the water heater replacement. Michael setup the old unit to drain while he went to retrieve the new one from their warehouse which took him about 45 minutes. Upon his return, he removed the old unit and cleaned up the area. He then cut back the existing copper lines to eliminate the numerous soldered couplings from the previous homeowner's repairs. He installed new copper pipes including a new quarter turn shut-off valve. A catch pan was placed and the water heater setup in it. Up reconnecting the gas line, he installed a sediment trap or drip leg (it did not have one previously) which catches sediment sometimes present in natural gas. After bringing the system online, Michael checked the gas line connections for leaks using a detection monitor. The installation was clean and neat and it is obvious Michael is conscientious about his work. Always interested in how things in my home work, Michael was very gracious in answering my questions regarding the installation. I am very happy with the install.and would like to thank Michael for his professionalism and the education."

"Juan's guys were on time, worked for several hours on a tough/challenging replacement of a hot water heater (requiring the removal and repiping of a stacked washer/dryer unit in a very small space. They handled everything really well, were very professional and polite. I would hire them again."

"Way too expensive quote to replace a thermostat"

"Albert and Joseph provided truly exceptional service during their visit to my home. Albert first installed my kitchen faucet and food processor, and then, both came back to install a water heater with remarkable professionalism, care, and efficiency. From the moment they arrived, they were responsive, respectful, and incredibly warm. They took the time to explain my options, helped me feel at ease, and ensured I understood why the water heater they recommended was the best choice on the market. On top of that, they went above and beyond by fixing a separate issue in my shower without hesitation. Their dedication, expertise, and kindness made the entire experience outstanding. I am deeply grateful for their work and highly recommend them."

"I had to replace a water heater quickly. Gave me a competitive quote with a water heater with desirable specs within a day and scheduled me the day after. "Highly recommend this company! We hired them twice this year for two different projects. On both occasions, we received OUTSTANDING service! They built our custom wet bar, finished a portion of our basement and installed an infrared sauna. We get compliments on our basement everything we entertain. The attention to detail and craftsmanship is just marvelous. The owner and his crew are very professional. They kept us informed every day on the progress and next steps. On time and very neat. We even hired them for some handyman projects such as installing a ceiling lamp and installing a TV. We will continue to use them for all our household renovations and repairs. Finally, a company that not only delivers excellent service but does EXCELLENT work!"
