Lisa, at Fireside Sweeps was so kind and helpful to have the techs go to the home that very day I called and reviewed the situation. She had a list of suggested issues and the ballpark cost to repair. It was a huge situation as the current chimney needed to be replaced. That knowledge helped me to get the price of the home I purchased reduced so that I could have the needed repairs done when I arrived from Colorado and closed on the property. After arrival I contacted Fireside Sweeps again via email and Lisa set up a time for Steve the owner to come and review the job personally. He was here today and revisited the repairs needed and tonight (Saturday) I received the estimate (via email) to completely remove and repair my chimney and is trying hard to find a date and time he can fit me into the schedule before the snow flies here. Price seems really fair and I will do another review when the work is completed. Highly recommended at this point."

"They were willing to come on an as-needed basis for wasps, but I was chagrined to hear that we couldn't hire JP Pest just once to take care of existing mice. They said that the only way they treated those was with a yearly contract that includes quarterly monitoring. They said there really was no other way because new mice would just replace the old quickly. However, the yearly contract would include not just rodents but also the bees and wasps, ants and spiders. In the end, after calling around, I agreed to the yearly contract, which was reasonably priced. JP Pest uses the least toxic and most humane methods they can. And bonus: the tick population seems to have declined measurably with the disappearance of the mouse colonies."
