He did some patching & painting, ceiling repairs, bathroom wall repairs, grab bar & towel rack, installed extra support under the bathtub, shimmed up & repaired the breakfast bar in the kitchen along with cabinet drawer repair, & replaced and repaired fireproof caulking in basement garage. He did exactly what he promised, only better, & checked with me whenever something came up that was unplanned. Showed up when expected, finished the job when he said and cleaned up after the job exceptionally well. I recommend him highly!!"

After we decided what we wanted, she gave us a firm estimate and we set an installation date for after the holidays. They came as scheduled and completed the job in a couple of hours. "Our old house on the Northside of Pittsburgh was in need of an exterior facelift and a new front porch to replace the one that had collapsed. I met with Dave LaBovick of Exceptional Exteriors and we agreed upon a price, which my wife and I found quite reasonable. The work on the vinyl siding began about a week later and took only a half a day to wrap up. The job was done to our complete satisfaction, The before and after is like night and day. Another crew arrived a few days later to do the porch and sidewalk. They began work on a Thursday afternoon and were finished 24 hours later. Once again, we are very happy with the result. In both cases, they removed all debris and left-over building materials associated with the job. We are not only completely satisfied with the work that Exceptional Exteriors did for us, we are looking forward to hiring them again for our next home project."

"His name is Rod. He is fine but the guy he has used for years, the contractor Les. I talked to Rod and somebody was supposed to come out but after 3 phone calls nobody got a hold of me so I just quit calling. Nothing major but I spent a lot of money. I was just a little disappointed because Rod was pretty good. It was minor like my door is sticking and I can't figure out what the problem is. And then I had some windows that were slipping down and Rod said Les would be getting a hold of me but he never did. I have an old house and they really messed up my window frames on a couple windows because they are all wood. If he had said you know these window frames are old and this may happen but he didn't. I was really surprised when I walked around and said hey my windows are messed up, he just looked at me like I was crazy. Not all of them, just a couple. I did shop around for windows at different places and the other places were outrageous. Rod told me they had a special going on so I got the next better grade up. Even if Les had called me back and said hey I'm not going to be coming back out. OK Now Rod called me back all the time and he suggested some things that I never thought of. Like shutters for the second floor. I liked his creative because he suggested different paint and things. Rod's professionalism was an A but Les I would give a C."

They did a great job and took the initiative to repair the gate, leading off the deck, which needed some nails & adjustments. I was impressed with their efficiency, equipment, professionalism and very reasonable prices. Josh discussed other home improvement projects which he took the time to explain & provide suggestions. "We are very pleased with the work that was done and the experience of working with Brooks Handyman and Remodeling. They did work for about 3 weeks on our home. We initially contacted them about repairing some water damage and holes in our drywall. They were able to evaluate the problem, fix the holes, and add some protective barriers to (hopefully) prevent and/or mitigate the damage in the future. 
They performed many services for us and were incredibly nice about us adding things to the to do list. Everything was done the right way. They were pleasant to have in our home for 3 weeks and made having the work done as easy on us as it could've been.
One other thing we appreciated was that they weren't put off by having our young children there too. They would let them watch their work when it wasn't dangerous and even worked around the youngest's nap schedule when it was possible. They didn't have to do any of that but we sincerely appreciated that they did. 
Their price was reasonable and the work done was great. We would absolutely hire them again and would recommend that you do too!"
