"We hired Steller Construction and Remodeling LLC to build a deck/Catio in May 2024. Micha (the Owner) was straightforward to work with and reach throughout the process. We are retired and live on a set income. Even though we had some lower estimates from other companies, we felt so confident with Micha's (the owner) ideas that, after looking at other reviews/images of this company, we decided to go with Steller Construction. Micha's team was absolutely amazing !!! Ray, our project's lead employee/carpenter, was very knowledgeable, considerate, and had an unbelievable work ethic! The rest of the team did an awesome job as well. They communicated well throughout the whole job always checking in with us to make sure they were doing what we wanted. They were professional and very polite everyday. At the end of each they completely cleaned up the area. We have worked with one other construction company and a roofing company when we did some remodling on our last home and did not have a good experience with either company. We were very nervous about having to go through another bad experience. We were so pleasantly surprised that Steller Construction turned out to be a great decision! "Israel and team did a fantastic fantastic job replacing a really bad lawn with artificial turf. Israel showed me several different types. I could choose from and recommended one that would work well for my pets, and one that we both liked the look of for my space. He also built up a retaining wall to keep the bark chips out of the grass area and did an amazing job on that as well. Him and his team went above and beyond, working in rainy downpour and getting this done quickly and professionally for me. Very happy and highly recommend."

"Awhile back I decided it was time to replace my old, crumbling shed. After doing a search on Angie’s List, I hired Gryphon Construction because they had good reviews. The process worked, and I must say that I’m super happy with the results I got. Not only were Akeem and company great to work with, they did an excellent job, and and I’m extremely happy with my new shed. (The only reason I’m not calling it “shop” is because I didn’t have power installed). It’s solid, has a locking door, as well as a window, and looks more like a tiny house than the shed that proceeded it. And while they were here, I also had them install a new track for a broken pocket door, which involved removing some dry wall to get at the work-out track. They did a great job on that, too, and I’m very happy with the remodel. I found them to be pleasant to do business with, as well as very conscientious, timely, and they have a strong sense of craftsmanship, which, after all, is what we all want in a good contractor. I highly recommend them!"

"We hired Jose last summer (2025) to remove some flag stones in the back yard and move them to the front walkway as well as put in a 16x14' concrete slab in the back yard. We interviewed 4 other contractors but he was the only one that gave us ideas on how to make it better than I could have imagined! What originally started as a single concrete slab in the back yard turned into a show piece walkway in the front yard and a back yard patio that was nice enough to add a gazebo! You would think that with all the extra add ons it would have been way over budget but it ended up costing much less than all the other quotes! We are looking at having Jose put in a new 28'x28' slab in the other side of the yard for a possible basketball hoop or, gosh, anything. I really recommend this company. Jose is very personable, professional, and very very qualified. Thanks Again Jose!"

"Had a sprinkler system installed on about 1/3 of an acre in the spring of 2022 with a 3 year guarantee. They were prompt about coming out, giving an estimate and taking a payment. Poor communication following the install regarding operation. Problems with water reaching all areas of the grass were downplayed. After repeatedly not answering texts or phone messages I was berated by Mr. Hawk for being "Mr. Difficult". I ended up buying and changing 3 sprinkler heads so that water would reach everywhere and eliminate brown spots. Terrible customer service !"
