"I hired the wrong person initially to replace my polybutylene pipe. After over 2.5 months of continuing leaks I decided to have the work replaced. Glen from Ragsdale came over to give an estimate. He fixed where water was coming into the family room from the upstairs bathroom. He inspected the rest of the work done. The estimate from Ragsdale was significantly less than the other estimates I got including the repair he did that day. Glen and his assistant came and did the job in 8 hours. They were polite and professional . I wish I had hired them from the beginning. It would have saved me a lot of money, anxiety and damage to my home. I will call them for future plumbing needs."

"Called Advance Plumbing Service because of a water line leaking under one of my rental houses. They stated they could be there in 30-35 minutes. About 20 minutes later, they pulled in the driveway. John quickly located the leak and turned the water off. John explained that I had a 3/4" hot water line leaking and that he could repair it for $60. I told him I was expecting it to be more being that it was the weekend. He explained that his rates were the same any day of the week. Because his price was so reasonable, I asked him to give me a price to replace the water heater as well. The tenant had complained that the hot water ran out very quickly. John checked out the heating elements and thermostats on the water heater and determined that the lower element was bad. He offered to repair it rather than selling me a new one. I appreciated this gesture but I had him give me a price for a new water heater as well as fixing the leak under the house and his price was $675. I was very pleased with that price and told him to go ahead. John immediately called another one of his guys to bring a new water heater and he started with the leak repair. Within 1 hour and 20 minutes of his arrival, the leak was repaired and the new water heater was installed. I could not have been more pleased. When John handed me the invoice it was only $625. I told him he had quoted me $675. He said that the job went exceptionally smooth and that $625 was all I owed him. I could not have been more impressed with Advance Plumbing Services punctuality, professionalism or price. I will be using them from here on out for all of my personal plumbing needs as well as my rental properties."

"Choice was fast, efficient, and kept me posted on the progress of the claim. Although the water leak issue was discovered on a Friday, they had a plumber there to investigate by Saturday morning. When it was determined that the 20+ year old heater needed to be replaced, the replacement ordered, on-site, and installed by Wednesday morning. I am glad that we opted for the Choice Ultimate plan as other than the initial $65 service fee, all but one $50 ancillary expense was covered."

We initiated a service request and Jason responded immediately.  He put us on his schedule for 7/15/14, arrived at the appointed time and repaired our leaky shower faucet in the bedroom and installed  new toilet handles in two bathrooms.  He was professional, informative, and polite. He lets you know the depth of the problem and materials required for repairs. He went right to work as soon as he arrived and did not waste any time completing the task. The prices were reasonable even though I asked for a little extra work that wasn’t really required. "Service guy came as scheduled. Sent his "service" requirements to home base Home base calls back and lists, a very long list of what needs to be done and a very long list of what is not covered and what each item costs. The overall cost was outrageous and they weren't willing to give it to me in writing. Everything I had to pay for was overpriced, of course! They told me my other option would be to purchase my own water heater and they would reimburse me for what there water heater would cost, but no reimbursement for Labor, building permit, or any upgrades required by the local building department. The requirements of the building department were minimal. I went to Home Depot and had them do the installation and saved many hundreds of dollars. Lesson learned, have AHS do simpler repairs that don't require municipal building department approval. Have AHS pay for the equipment, and purchase installation from a trusted local installer."

"We contacted Hooks Remodeling & Repair to do a list of items that needed to be done around our home. Some items we had been able to do in the past but physically are unable to do any longer. The biggest item was to paint the exterior of the house, including replacing some siding boards; painting some rooms in the interior as well as all of the interior trim (and there is a lot). Other things were: fix an outside Florida room door that would not close anymore (in order for it to close we had to use the deadblock lock. Once we used that, then we couldn't get the door open); clean and restain the deck which included replacing some boards; clean all the gutters; replace two bathroom faucets;replace a kitchen faucet; replace a light above the kitchen sink; and repaint our front door.Eric was prompt in coming to the house to provide an estimate. He walked around the house with me & pointed out the areas that he felt needed extra attention. We agreed to the price which included everything he was going to need.to complete the job (except faucets & lighting). Other companies I had to get all the supplies and this was not a chore I wanted to take on. I prefer the contractor get the items they need. That way I know they have the right items. I picked out the paint colors & just gave him the brand & numbers.We were going to be out of town when they needed to start the job. He had a lockbox (like realtors) and came in & started the job while we were away. This was a big help. They moved all of the furniture & put it back when they finished. Any pictures or other items they moved were also put back (even upside down like I had them - now that is paying attention to detail) I could find no paint splatters or drops anywhere inside so either they are VERY good or do a great job of cleaning up.When they moved to the outside, they did a lot of prep work and a great paint job. Eric even made some suggestios that turned out to be great and made a big difference. The pressure wash they did on the house almost made the house look good enough not to have to paint (but we did). I think he may think twice the next time someone wants to re-paint their front door red though. ha ha. They were very punctual and Eric kept me updated as to everything he was doing & when. His workers were very polite & professional. Everyday before they left they cleaned up and put their supplies away neatly. We only had one sort of blip of the entire job and it was a misunderstanding and was taken care of promptly and professionally and it turned out just fine. I am very pleased with all of the work that Eric & his crew did. In my mind it was a lot & they got it completed right on time. I love driving into my driveway and admiring the work. I would highly recommend Hooks Remodeling & Repair to anyone needing just about anything done. If there was a little something that Eric saw that needing doing he did it. I had a problem with my disposal one day and he fixed it in about a minute. I have had other repairmen in my home over the 10 years we have lived there & I can not in sincerity say the same thing about most of them.Thank you Ericeplace"

Carol was meticulous and very conscientious about getting some mold residue abated and the painted. Adam was detail oriented and was patient with our MANY questions concerning the installation of our balcony door.
