"Jon and his crew were great to work with. They arrived on time, completed the work in a timely manner and were available to answer any questions we had regarding mold treatment. I also like that the product they use is non toxic. I would definitely recommend them."

"Gil was very professional, on time, and very kind. He went over and beyond in helping us get the mold in the basement of where we were renting tested because our landlord would not take it seriously. Having our own testing done and a lab report of the findings mad it possible for us to get out of the lease and get our security deposit and rent returned to us so we could move out of a toxic home."

"CPR, Inc. was recommended to me by the plumber who came to fix my broken hot water tank; which burst open after 18 years, and soaked just about everything in my basement. While pulling up the wet carpet, they also found mold. CPR is an excellent team of caring professionals. I would give them a " 10 STAR RATING" if I could! Cindea W. in Akron, OH"

"They were able to come out the same day which was fantastic! The woman who came out was very professional and through. She tested the area in question for wetness then went up to the bathroom to test the area. She told me that unfortunately I would need to probably fix my gutters and drywall to correct the issue but they do not do that type of work. I was very thankful for her advice and regretted that I could not use them for service after they drove all the way to my house. I would definitely use them in the future id anything comes up."

"They brought my number down substantially. I had a really good experience about them. The company tells you exactly what's going on and supported the fact with documents. The workers were personable and work fast. I would recommend them to everybody and I'll definitely use them again"

"I have never had a business be more true to the reviews! They were amazing! Everyone was so nice, polite and willing to help. They were so efficient and helpful. They even forgot a few things and when I called about it, they fixed it right away. The crew that came back to get the remaining items was just as nice as the first! Props to them for hiring so many great employees! I am referring them to everyone!!!"

FAQs for toxicity and mold removal projects in Hartville, OH

Remediation should keep mold from returning as long as the moisture source is eliminated. Fix leaks, control humidity, and replace water-damaged materials, then schedule periodic inspections to stay ahead of new growth. With those safeguards, your home can stay mold-free for the long haul while protecting both health and property value.

Most pros recommend leaving the home while they work on mold remediation. Removing mold stirs up airborne spores that can aggravate respiratory issues, and contractors can work more efficiently in an empty space. A short, temporary relocation keeps everyone in your family safe and lets the crew finish the job without interruption.

Mold shouldn’t return once the moisture problem is fixed. Stay vigilant: repair leaks right away, keep humidity below 50 percent with a dehumidifier placed in damp areas, and improve ventilation where needed. Routine checks for leaks and mold and quick repairs go a long way toward keeping your home mold-free.

Mold spores can trigger nasal congestion, throat irritation, coughing, wheezing, eye irritation, or skin rashes. People with asthma, allergies, or weakened immune systems often feel the effects sooner and more intensely. Some molds also release mycotoxins linked to serious respiratory or neurological issues. Swift remediation and better ventilation are the best defenses.
