"It went great! Patrick came out on a Saturday to see what was causing my line to back up. He used his camera to find mud in a section of my pipe indicating some type of crack or break. Gave me my options for fixing it. He started his repair two days later on Monday and finished up today, Wednesday. They dug roughly, a 4ft by 3ft hole to get down to the pipe and ended up digging two more feet towards the basement to ensure that they connected the new pipe to a solid piece of the existing pipe. Very competitive pricing, I called two other plumbers who were both higher priced by at least 2K and didn't offer as good of a warranty on their work. Very knowledgeable, able to help me understand how my whole sewer system works. Very professional, got the permit with the city, busted the work out, got the job inspected by the city and Closed up the hole. "We have had problems with our sewer line backing up for the past 17 years. Would always call different rooder router company's to get it unplugged. Used to have to do it at least twice a year and then it turned into 3 or 4 times a year. The last guy we had told me he was going to have to rip up my floor in order to fix the problem. I was beside myself.... Then about a year and a half ago I got the name of J&S plumbing from my brother in law who used them for the village of Arlington Heights. He told me to call and ask for Brian (Buck) and get a 2nd opinion which we did. Brian put a camera down the sewer line and saw that the pipe under ground was broken and replaced it for us. No other company in all those years even bothered to put a camera down there to see what the problem was. Brian suggested we get the line hydro jetted when the weather broke. We had no problems with the line for about a year and a half and the sewer backed up again. We called Brian and he sent Daniel to hydro jet the line. Daniel came with two other guys and got my sewers all cleaned out. He was kind, honest and friendly. He explained what my options were. I hired him to replace the pipe. He immediately went to City Hall for the permit, began work the next day, and had it completed before Christmas Eve as promised. "People's Gas, on a routine check of the lines, found two leaks on our main gas line into our condo building. People's Gas put us through the ringer (wish we could Angie's List them because they would get an F-) Tried a different provider to fix the leaks and they never called back. Called Charlie and it went AWESOME! I told him the situation...we even had to reschedule twice because People's Gas couldn't do what they were supposed to do when they were supposed to do it...Charlie flexed every time and worked around the delays. On top of that he is a great guy and easy to talk to. Followed up with phone calls every time I called. Even followed up the day after the work was done to make sure everything was good.
