"I thought it went well but took longer than I expected. Mechanic Leo bought the new tank and pipes in when he arrived. I believed Leo arrived around 7:30 pm. He completed the installation around 11:30.pm Leo went out to his truck, stayed outside for a long time, in fact, my son Vann went out to ask him what was taking so long. When he came back in, Leo told me there would be an extra $100.00 We explained that we had been quoted a price of $1,300.00.. so he said to call the i office and they would straighten everything out, That’s why I called the next day. Everything seemed okay. When I notice the water was much slower, I called to let J&S know. The person asked me a few questions and advised me to check the faucets. Well, that didn’t work and the water was not as hot as before the installation. I called again to explain to J & S what was happening. The person there told me that they didn’t have to come out, and I still owed them $100.. so that's why I called Angi So I decided to check all of the faucets and I realized that the water flow was not coming out properly from any of the faucets So this is what happened. I am just appalled that they haven’t come out or called as of this date. I need them to come out and check this out, something went wrong. We could do a FaceTime inspection that would show the flow of the water."

"Four Seasons arrived earlier than window time and came out to perform the yearly maintenance on my furnace. He said Four Seasons was offering a discount for cleaning the water heater. Since I've only lived here five years and had no idea when it was last cleaned, I also had him clean out water heater. He did an excellent job on both, replaced my furnace filter, and left the area cleaned. He explained everything he did, answered all my questions and said my water heater was very dirty and should now run more efficient."

"Within 5 minutes after Roy walked in, I knew I was speaking with an expert. He talked me out of wasting money on what I wanted (getting rid of boiler and replying on furnace) telling me about how everyone in the city during -40 degree nights was will freeze and if I keep the boiler I'll be comfy. He also talked me out of choosing a heat pump, saying in Chicago it will cause problems in the dead of winter and then I'll be out of luck. Initial estimate was only to replace the 60 year oil leaky boiler and 40 year old loud AC and furnace. Came in, did the work quickly, and when we were doing final inspection he pointed out where my last remaining original furnace was having problems. Gave me a great price to just get the the last furnace and AC done (AC was 40 years old). I know they won't be the cheapest but if you want someone you can trust who will guide you with his 30 years of experience and teach you the finer details of heating and cooling while delivering quality work, go with Porterhouse. I won't trust anyone else."

Very nice work, cleaned up after themselves, didn't make a huge mess. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend. Because they weren't able to give me the specs of the water heater they would provide, just a flat rate on the heater and install it was difficult for me to compare with other quotes provided. I ultimately decided not to go with them because I got a bad feeling when they mentioned having worked in my city before but didn't seem interested in complying with city regulations requiring permits. Do I like needing permits for everything? No. But I'd rather do it how they require than face penalties later. When I expressed my reservations based on previous issues with the city, they agreed to the permit as long as I completed the process."
