"Mark S. was very responsive. He reviewed our situation and provided an estimate via email rather quickly. The chimney wall tiles were gradually falling and causing drafting issues. We immediately felt comfortable in hiring Mark and scheduled the work after the holiday. Mark, Ben and Dan arrived promptly and were courteous. They protected the basement storage area from any dust or debris by putting up plastic sheeting and laying down tarp. When they were finished, the area was spotless. The cement patch work on the wall opening was done nicely too. The replacement connections to oil water heater and two oil furnaces looks great as well. It all went well and we were pleased to have hired Chimney Savers and Mark Schaub and his crew. His estimate was fair."

"If you don't want to read the whole review (it's on the long side), here's the summary: Pete’s Chimney and More is a business that will exceed all of your expectations with work that is first rate and an owner who goes out of his way to make the experience so user friendly that for once you won’t dread the process of needing to have work done on your house. And now for the details… We needed to have the chimney on our house repaired. I called Pete’s Chimney, as I had water leaking into the attic from a crumbling chimney. Even though the answering machine said that they were on vacation, within minutes I received a return call from Pete and had set up an appointment for the day after New Years. When I picked up my mail on 12/31, however, the estimate was already in my mailbox with a clear itemization of the work that needed to be done. The estimate was more than fair, and given his willingness to come out on a holiday, I knew immediately we were moving ahead. Pete runs his business as if he is taking care of his family, as you feel as if your problem is his problem. He was able to make an appointment for the end of the week, keeping in touch with me to let me know when he was coming, what to expect, etc. The work is actually for my mother’s house, and as she is elderly and disabled, he went out of his way to make sure she would be comfortable with all of the plans. Ultimately, he was able to move the work up a day taking advantage of the nice weather, calling me to make sure that this would work for my mother. When his team arrived, they immediately got down to work not even stopping to come inside to warm up, and it was a very brisk day! (They even passed on pizza in order to keep working!) The work done was top-rate, with the chimney angles crisp and clean. The work area was tidy the entire time and was left immaculate looking better than when they had started. (I’m not making this up; they had a leaf blower to make sure nothing was left amiss!) When the team left, I had a question for Pete and within minutes of texting him, he replied. I called him, and he went through his answer in detail explaining how the chimney had been reconstructed. While his answer far exceeded my question, I so appreciated his willingness to spend the time making sure I was completely satisfied with all parts of the job. In the end, the job was even more thorough than I had expected, and I now look forward to my new chimney’s long life! So often, and rightfully so, people write reviews when things don’t go well. I’m not sure that we spend as much time writing reviews when things go well. In this case, I could not be happier or more pleased with my interactions from start to finish with Pete’s Chimney and More. Pete’s integrity as a business owner and the expertise of his team stand out making me thrilled to see that he offers many other services that we will be able to use in the future. "The same day I inquired for an estimate within a couple of hours someone arrived at my home. They were phenomenal in communication (Vincenza was fabulous) about what to expect time wise. All of my questions regarding my repairs were handled on the spot. I was promised they would return before the next rainfall and they didn't disappoint. While repairing the shingles on the roof they noted there was a crack in my chimney that was both quoted and repaired the same day. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to any one in need of their services."

"Total Chimney installed a new stainless steel cap over my three flue chimney. An initial misunderstanding about price was quickly and fairly resolved with the owner. The three crews which came to my house were all very professional, although the lead tech at the first visit did not measure, so the special order cap did not fit and a second one had to be ordered. During the whole process, my phone calls to the office were quickly returned and communication was excellent. I am very pleased with how everything was handled and recommend Total Chimney."

"Jeff and his team were excellent. After getting an initial quote elsewhere, which included replacing both of my chimney flues, I ended up calling Serab. After the initial inspection Jeff told me one flue was in excellent condition, but the other needed repair. Throughout the process, Jeff always provided me with a multitude of options and price ranges. His honesty, coupled with his competitive pricing, made my decision to move forward a no brainer. <br /> Serab handled getting the permit from my town and followed up to schedule. Due to some conflicts we weren't able to get started for about a month, but Jeff and his team worked with me and came in on a Saturday.
