The original plan was to just clean out the line between my home and the city sewer system. They began Feb. 1, but they discovered major problems where my pipes meet the city's. It involved digging up the street and completely replacing my pipes. BF coordinated with the city, so I didn't have to do it. It was a major job and they worked all day in a cold, constant rain. When they had not completed the job by Friday, Feb. 5, I figured we would be without plumbing the entire weekend, but they surprised us by showing up early Saturday morning and worked all day, once again in a cold rain, and completed the job that night because, according to the crew chief, they wanted us to finally have plumbing that works.
