We wished we found him sooner than later - the first company we found could not provide shutters for our French doors - get this, the French doors shutters were installed months before the first company. We wanted to cancel the first company but we had already paid 50% deposit but the first company wouldn’t cooperate. "Ybarra Professional Builders did 2 big plumbing projects on my house and property. Not only did they install a brand-new main water line to replace the old leaking galvanized steel pipe, but they also re-piped my house's plumbing as it was also made from that same rusting out galvanized steel. I also had some other major work done by them at the same time (tree removal and sprinkler repair) but since Home Advisor asked for a specific type of project for this review, I will only review the plumbing projects. Vlad was the project manager for all of these projects. He coordinated all of the sub-contractors' work and got the projects done in a timely manner. There were none of the time issues that I had heard about with other contractors, such as waiting weeks between one phase of a project to get the next one started-after one phase was done, the next phase would begin with no more than a day or two in between. He was very pleasant and very patient with my many questions and concerns and kept me up-to-date with what was happening. The project that I most dreaded, the house plumbing re-piping, was not as bad as I thought it would be, to my great relief. All of the people who I dealt with at Ybarra were pleasant and professional, from the sub-contractors to the office staff. I think the quality of the work performed was very good. In the additional clean-up phase, the holes in the drywall where the plumbing had been re-piped were patched and painted, and the concrete where the driveway had to be cut to replace the main water line was re-poured. This portion of the project was available as an additional cost, but the workmanship was very good. I had heard and read many horror stories about dealing with contractors so working with this group was a pleasant surprise. Thank you, Vlad."

"I had a big deal purchase.  It was very slow.  They didn't get back to me for a long time.  She said she was sick or on vacation or something.  I think she was sick.  So it took a long time to get a response.  And it was quite slow.  She eventually sent me pictures of somebody else's living room and I don't know, I didn't feel like it was anything I would ever do again.  I think she probably would do a fine job, it's just that it wouldn't be timely, it takes a lot of time to get a response from them.  But she seemed like she would do a fine job.  I am not putting down her work, it's just it was just a long time to get a response from them."
