"Ryan came out right on time. He is so friendly and competent. He fully inspected our very high chimney and came back with some excellent suggestions for how we could save our fireplace and continue to use it with wood or gas, in addition to fixing our leaking chimney. He had a bid to us very soon. We signed and he ordered the specialize cap. As soon as it came in, he scheduled our installation. It just happened to fall on the hottest day of the year. Our old chimney cap had been sealed and resealed many times, so it was hard to get off, but Ryan persevered with a cheerful attitude. Soon it was off and our beautiful new cap was installed. Then he finished repairing and resurfacing our fireplace. The work was immaculately done. When it was over, he informed me that he had reduce our bill below what he bid it because he did not have to spend as much time on our firebox as he had thought. When does this ever happen? What a guy. This is the best experience I have ever had with a contractor (and I am 62 and have owned about a dozen homes)."

"Service was done quickly and thoroughly. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the entire operation as well as with the equipment used. After sweeping the chimney, Marcel reviewed observations, such as a cracked tile and eroding crown. Recommendations were made concerning each item, but no pressure to do anything in the immediate future. In the Spring, we agreed the crown resurfacing could be done. I will definitely want his company to do that work. He could also do any repairs necessary if the cracked tile becomes problematic. Water was also observed in the chimney. Marcel had stainless steel chimney caps on hand and was able to install one during the same visit. I had had one previously installed by another service provider, but that one rusted out and I believe it may have interfered with the draft. So I had removed it. This one that Marcel provided is stainless steel, looks good and should last a long time. I have noticed no degradation in the draft, since installation. I have had several good fires in the fireplace since then. Another reason I wanted the cap installed was to keep out birds and other animals. (I once had a bird in my fireplace several years ago and had to call Animal Control to have it removed. Not a good scene for any homeowner.) <br />"

"When I called the company, someone returned my call promptly and scheduled my work for about 3 weeks later. The workman was very professional. He inspected the chimney with a large light and then cleaned it with a large wire brush and used a vacuum to clean up the mess. He didn't try to sell me anything or get me to agree to something I didn't need. I was very satisfied."

"Jacob's Ladder first power washed my house then on another day two workers arrived promptly and began replacing the damaged <br /> beaded masonite siding and all rotted trim.  Once all the damaged pieces were replaced they began painting the house with a third employee.  They also replaced two hand rails on the front porch steps and a couple of pickets on the front porch.  Over the several days that the work was being done the workers arrived promptly, worked very hard and were very considerate of the landscaping around the house.  They took care to use drop cloths when working on the porch and the lower windows which I really appreciated.
