"Edgar has done everything from tearing down and rebuilding brick stoop walls and topping with new cement toppers, repointing brickwork on the main house to repairing a very high chimney on a terra cotta roof. He also followed us to our new home in a different county and did timely repairs and topped our stone chimney and acid washed the stone fireplace inside. He is very professional and polite, does great work at a fair price. "

"Chris Inch and his co-worker, I think his name is Alex did an excellent job in repointing chimney, making masonry repairs on side of my duplex in city that required stucco repairs, caulking, repaired front porch steps. They just went the extra mile - rehung my exterior shutter and found a piece so that it could be rehung. Friendly yet very professional. They know what they are doing. I would not hesitate to hire them again. All A's except one B and that was because I got a quote back in November, and I responded with more questions but then I never heard back. Out of the blue, I get a call in January and they are ready to do my work. Very responsive once on the scene. But again, excellent job. I also think the price was very reasonable."

"We had used Bill's services before. He put a retaining wall up for us and we were pleased with his workmanship and attention to detail. We had asked for 3 bids from 3 different people for the job to remove the old cement sidewalk, create a new paver (or cement) sidewalk, fix the ruts in our front yard and remove the stone slurry from our front yard from the well drilling done in November. Bill is an excellent worker and his bid was the lowest plus he could do all aspects of the work we needed to have done. From start to finish, it took 2 days! He and his crew were neat and considerate. Being a civil engineer, he gave us insight as to the layout of our yard and how he could level out the high areas and add to the low areas. He is a good communicator and we will recommend and use his services in the future!"

"Excel did a great job installing a bathroom on the third floor of our row home in Harrisburg city. The designer, Pat, was great to work with and very responsive to all of our requests. The crew was very thorough in checking things out before they got started, so we knew what to expect (and knew what the costs would be). We were well-informed of a couple potential problems that they might run into (because of the age of our home), and we knew what their contingency plans were for working through those problems. We are so very happy with the finished product - everything in the bathroom meets or exceeds our expectations. Also, they finished a week ahead of schedule! <br /> Our one complaint was the work that extended into a guest bedroom - they had to tear up a wall in the guest room to run pipes, and when they did this work, they did not cover anything or do anything to contain the dust and rubble that resulted. We knew they might have to do this at some point, but didn't know they would do it when they did. Since we were sleeping in the guest room through this work, that meant that our temporary bedroom was a mess. But their work in the master where they were adding the bathroom was very clean, with dust and dirt well-contained and cleaned up at the end of the job. <br />"

"Arlen did great work, clean, precise and quick. His team was respectful of our property, even dug out and re-pointed an entire brick wall behind my garden without any damage to my plants. He made smart and thoughtful suggestions as we decided what would and wouldn't been done on the property, respected our budget parameters and overall we were happy to have him at our property. I live in a historic district where craftsmanship of this kind is understood and respected and we have received a number of compliments on the work. We wanted the job done very quickly - before Thanksgiving.<br /> Bill came out and took measurements to give us quotes/bids for 2 other major jobs (kitchen and bath remodeling) that we're planning to do over the next 2-3 years, and he measured and discussed the job for squeezing the cubby hole job in right away.<br /> At first we thought the price to be a bit daunting, but we really wanted it done so we  moved ahead. <br /> It was a one-man job. Within 2 weeks I had the quote and the job was done.  We were completely amazed at the quality put into this job.
