"I went with Americare because, at the time of this review, they have nothing but 5 star reviews basically everywhere. I can see why. First, they're very reasonably priced. $60 for the service call, which is applied to any work that needs doing. If there's work to do, labor starts at $109, parts depend on what needs replaced. If the repair ends up being so much you decide to replace the appliance you're out no more than $60. All of this is extremely reasonable in this industry. Rich's communication in scheduling was terrific and timely. He arrived one time and was very courteous and professional. He sorted out our washer's issues quickly. No parts required and the fixes were relatively simple. There was no attempt to stick us with any additional fixes, charges, anything. $109, a few simple explanations, a demonstration that all was working as expected, and he was done. The fix was warrantied for 6 months (if I remember correctly), so if it turns out anything he diagnosed was wrong and needs additional work, the paid fee goes toward that as well. I also asked him about a no-longer-made appliance (a personal valet) which he'd never seen (no one has, it's a legacy of the housing boom), and with which I'd had some problems. In about 2 minutes of looking at it he gave me a pretty good idea of what might be wrong with that as well. Smart kid, very nice, very professional, will be the first person I call anytime I need appliance work period."

"This pro provided useful information via a virtual (online) video consultation. Since this service does not send technicians to the home, they did not do the actual work. I am considering whether to order parts and try to complete the repair myself or under their virtual direction."

"Dean showed up in the time window he gave me. Friendly, and answered any questions i had about the dryer. He even suggested i blow out the vent pipe with a leaf blower. He was courteous and cleaned up all debris from the dryer exhaust. He saved us a lot by fixing the thermostat, and now we don’t have to buy a new appliance. He did a great job! I highly recommend him.!"

"We had a leak in a pipe near the water heater.  I told Brian I intended to replace the water heater so he applied a temporary fix - at no cost - rather than spend the time necessary to a long term fix.
Because I have a large house and a large tub, the original configuration was a 40 gallon heater and a 50 gallon storage tank.  I had the storage tank removed when it began to leak a few years ago.
The remaining heater was good for a shower or two but no more, and the water was cold before the tub was filled enough for the jets to kick in.
Brian quoted me a high efficiency tank heater (with a storage tank) and a tankless model.  I've been considering a tankless heater for a long time but when I did the math, I decided a tankless was probably my best option.  Brian and Bill installed it a few days later and explained how to maintain it. 
There doesn't seem to be any less water pressure but the supply of hot water never ends!  I highly recommend this company and the tankless option.

"Very professional and friendly as well as very honest! We didn t end up needing a repair, our circuit breaker had popped and they discovered it. They reattached our dryer venting that my husband had pulled out and put the dryer back for us as well as explained some issues I was experiencing with the washer. "I had a leak in washing machine and some grinding noise when spinning. I talked to Dan on Tuesday. He said it would be $35 to look at issue. I told him I needed him on Wednesday at 11 am. . Dan was early to the appointment. He took apart washing machine and quickly diagnosed the problem. The water pump was leaking and had debris in it that caused it to make noise. He went to his truck, grabbed new pump, and installed it. Now the washer works like brand new. $90 total (which included labor). Very reasonable price and professional service. I will call Premium Appliance for any future appliance repairs."
