"George was wonderful to work with in the planning phase, very responsive, he answered all my questions as we discussed the install. I sent him photos of where the system would go and and he confirmed it would be a good fit. He arrived promptly on the install day, along with Dave who was also great, and they put in the system. About a half hour after they left, I discovered a leak from a small copper pipe and called George. He came right back to fix it which he did, but we realized it was not his work. Someone else had put in that section of copper tubing incorrectly. George was very kind and accommodating and fixed the problem. He and Dave were a pleasure and I really appreciated it and I would absolutely hire them again."

"I highly recommend Mitchell for any plumbing that needs to be done for anybody. He is honest, Also, very neat. And he shows a lot of pride in his work, and I am 73 years old, I have seen a lot of plumbers, some. I will never recommend like daigo plumbing. Stay away from him. But Mitch is number one and I respect everything that he's done for me today. Great worker. On time and takes a lot of pride in his work. I'm very happy to have him here today. He was godsend to me, so thank you, Mitch. I will recommend you to anybody of my friends, our family or anyone that calls on a plumber. Your name will come up and that's a guaranteed. I will never call anybody else's again, but you Thank you for your help. As far as I am concerned, you are number one. There's no one above you and I have seen like I said, and dealt with a lot of plumber, so thank you again. You stay safe, cause the people Do need plumber like you. Stay safe."

"The installation of the door was fine. The issue I had was with the lead up to the installation. I was told that the construction of the door would take time. I understand. The company never called me when the door was ready. They said they would call and would not call. This happened more than once. Once they told me an installation date, they did not include a time window. Those issues were actually the reason I chose the vendor through Angie's List. I was very disappointed. Again, the door looks fine and the installation was OK, but I was frustrated getting to that point."

"Richard did an outstanding job. When he came for an estimate, he traced the water line to the basement. He found that the issue was simply a pinched line that needed to be freed up. He quickly fixed the problem at no charge! I was elated because I was sure that this was a major problem that would cost me several thousand dollars to fix.
I was impressed by his honesty and work ethic as he could have told me anything or charged me for the work that he did. I would definately use this contractor again in the future and recommend him to others.

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"Furnace job:
Allen replaced our ancient Utica Boiler with a new and efficient Buderus., as well as updating all the supporting hardware He did a fantastic job. He came in, assessed the work, made some recommendations (such as installing individual zone pumps), issued an estimate on how long it would take him and how much it would cost. Allen came in and performed all the work he specified in the time he said for the cost he said. Very positive experience.
On the shower and toilets, again, Allen did exactly what he said he would do. We didn't get an estimate for this work so I can's say how well he did coming in on budget, but he did perform the work in the exact amount of time he said he would.

"We had requested a quote to have our roof replaced. Matt called us back promptly, and met with us to see what work needed to be done. We received a written estimate within a couple days following our meeting. We were pleasantly surprised when we received the quote, as he also gave a few options to choose from. The options ranged from replacing the damaged shingles only, to replacing the front of the house, the back of the house, or entire roof. It was nice to have the options and breakdown of costs. In the end we decided to replace the entire roof as it seemed to make more sense that way. We booked the job. The work crew arrived on time, they were very professional, they cleaned up everything around them, and did a great job. The roof looks so much better than
it did before. It only took a few days to finish our entire roof. We have a very high pitch on our roof and I was nervous about having it done. They are professionals for sure! I would highly recommend Queen City Remodeling.
