Mr. John Sherlock arrived at the time and date specified to give us an estimate.  He returned the following day with his assistant and performed the job in one day.  He installed 26 copper lightning rods on the flat roof of our 7,000 square foot home.  These rods were connected with 500 feet of heavy duty copper cable and were grounded at three points with ground rods going down through the drainpipes into the ground. All parts of the system were securely attached to the roof.  He did a neat job and cleaned up all excess materials.  We were very pleased with the job him did.  Since installation of the lightning rod system we have had no trouble with lightning striking the house or causing power outages or surges.

"I can't begin to express my gratitude to Paul Zimmer and Detail Solar. I had a disaster created by a windstorm which caused my solar inverter to detach from the house and flip upside down. The conduit, cutoff boxes and wiring were all hanging precariously. Each day that went by caused more stress as all that heavy equipment pulled further and further away from the house. "The Sears Technician (Randall T.) was very professional and used a mask at all times. He explained in detail the work he was doing and what parts was needed to complete the repair work. He then ordered the parts and it came to my residence in about a week. The only problem I was having was trying to get Randall or another Sears Technician to come back to my resistor complete the repair work. But things were worked out."

"They did a really good job.  They put a unit in that we were not happy with about two years ago.  They had to come out several times to fix it.  So, they discounted a unit from $13000 to $9000.  They installed it and did all the work.  We are super happy with the unit now.  Part of it was our fault because we got a cheaper unit.  But they worked with us quite well."
