My primary concerns are: the unexpectedly high and poorly explained pricing (especially the additional $1,200 for the valve), the failure to perform the work as originally proposed (no dig or scope up to the sidewalk), the use of my brother instead of me to verify completion, and inaccurate statements in the final report about both the work performed and a warranty that was never disclosed. I am requesting an adjustment of the charges to reflect an amount in a range closer to Angi's list:$1696 up to "First Class's" quote of $2400. and written clarification of any warranty. I want this handled as an issue of integrity and transparency in how customers are treated and how work is represented."
