"It went great! Patrick came out on a Saturday to see what was causing my line to back up. He used his camera to find mud in a section of my pipe indicating some type of crack or break. Gave me my options for fixing it. He started his repair two days later on Monday and finished up today, Wednesday. They dug roughly, a 4ft by 3ft hole to get down to the pipe and ended up digging two more feet towards the basement to ensure that they connected the new pipe to a solid piece of the existing pipe. Very competitive pricing, I called two other plumbers who were both higher priced by at least 2K and didn't offer as good of a warranty on their work. Very knowledgeable, able to help me understand how my whole sewer system works. Very professional, got the permit with the city, busted the work out, got the job inspected by the city and Closed up the hole. Patrick and his crew were also able to remove a piece of cable that someone previously broke and left in the pipe ( from that machine that rods your line). I highly recommend Patrick and his crew. The peace of mind is priceless! Thank you!"

"I had an excellent experience with Goodfellas Sewer and Drain. They recently helped me with a complex kitchen sink issue, taking apart the drain piping and garbage disposal to rod and clear the drain. They worked efficiently and left everything clean and properly reassembled. Their professionalism and attention to detail were evident from start to finish. I’ll definitely be calling them again for any plumbing needs and highly recommend them to anyone needing reliable, thorough service!"

"My situation was particularly difficult, with my drain clean out being in my crawlspace in a cramped spot. Bob really impressed me with his ingenuity, and more importantly his confidence in how to best do the job. Bob and Kevin got my main sewer line cleared and everything cleaned up in 2 hours. I highly recommend R.A. Mechanical."

"We had a large graduation party happening on a Sat & realized a bad smell was coming out of the sewer drain of ground floor on Tues. The first estimate told me we needed to dig up the pipe (which was under 1.5ft concrete AND a finished tile floor w/ embedded radiant heat pipes) because there was definitely a hole or a backflow there causing poop sewage to sit in the p-trap and it was an emergency health hazard. The estimate was $4500-7000. I spoke to Trinidad who had called me second and told him what they were advising and he said “why don’t you try just flushing the line yourself with a garden hose and some Clorox or pineal and see what happens, because if there was a hole in the p-bend there would be no water there” plus the smell would have been godawful. So I did that and the smell receded a huge amount. I thought I still smelled it that evening & he estimated a pro flush right away, was responsive fast via text, and I appreciated his honesty greatly. "

FAQs for drain line breakage camera locate projects in Homer Glen, IL

French drain repairs generally include cleaning to remove clogs or replacing damaged pipes. Drain cleaning costs between $150 and $200 per hour. If replacement is necessary, the cost to install a French drain can run up to $5,000, depending on its type and location.

Trenchless sewer replacement costs between $60 and $250 per foot but is usually not an option for interior plumbing lines. Plumbers typically only use this approach for outside sewer pipes.

Unless you can see a clog through a drain or cracked pipe under a sink, you may be unable to identify its location. To find the problem, your plumber may test your water pressure at specific points or use a sewer camera.

Common signs that a drain pipe requires repair include slowly draining water, backups, regular clogs, strange gurgling sounds, or foul odors from the drain. Also, contact a plumber if you can see rust or oxidation on a drain pipe under the sink or in the basement.

The cost to repair a sink drain pipe can be as low as $100, covering the cost of a plumber’s labor for one to two hours. If the pipe needs to be replaced or is difficult to access, costs could climb up to $500.
