We had the wall between our kitchen and living room removed, fully remodeled our kitchen, laundry/mud room, half bath, and our master bathroom. This was a large remodel on an older home. Any issues that were discovered from opening walls, were addressed immediately by having a knowledgeable contractor. Johnny went above and beyond to ensure that the work was done correctly and in a timely manner. "The subcontractors from Home Maintenance Associates Inc. Company did an excellent job. I was very pleased with the quality of their craftsmanship. They did very good carpentry work. They had to work about 20 feet off the ground in order to build the scaffold; it was a difficult project. They did a very good job with that. They were pricey though. I had some twenty estimates as it was a difficult deck to build since it was high off the ground. However, I was not impressed with them as I was with Home Maintenance Associates Inc. Company. I decided to go with them because I felt that they had the experience to do the job. I felt that I just ended up paying for that experience. They showed me lots of pictures of the decks they had built in the past. That convinced me more that they can do the job and they did. My experience with scheduling them and everything else went very well. However, they were working on other jobs on the same time so they were delayed a couple of times. It wasn't an issue with me because I wasn't in any rush. I also knew that if I had an issue with the delay they would have given preference to my job. The final deck looks very good. However, the wood is withering pretty quickly, but I can't blame them for it because they just chose what was available. I would use them again in the future."

"Southface Renovations completed a renovation of the first floor of our home in 2021. The scope of work included an addition that was approximately 25ft x 5ft (foundation to roofing), removing two interior walls, demo’ing an existing kitchen, installing 5 new windows, refinishing all existing hardwood flooring as well as adding new to match, exterior painting and gutters, and rebuilding the kitchen including all cabinets, countertops, appliances, lighting, plumbing and electrical. The owner Johnny and project manager Andrew were present on site as often as needed and available by text and email nearly 24/7. Workers were on our property nearly every single day and made good progress the entire time. With a project this size there will always be changes to the scope and problems that come up, and Southface handled each of these completely. They finished the job within the budget and timeframe they promised. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone."

"Al was very kind and straightforward. He did initially tried to charge me a little more than the average for the area but after I explained that I had done research for the labor costs and already have materials he got the cost significantly also mention that you found him on Angie's List. I am very pleased with how the floor looks they did a very quick job some very weird layouts because my house is strange though I love its eccentricity. Though it takes a long time to book him because he is usually busy he works very fast, but not sloppily, and the work was completed in approximately 4 days with a small crew of three one of whom was his son. we are almost done with most of our work but I'm a call him back for some minor repairs thing that needs to be completed the only complaint I have is that at least one of the workers is a smoker and I found a few cigarette butts in my yard or in the bushes next to where they were sawing which was not very pleasant. That is a minor complaint though because as contractors go they show up on time and they get the work done and they get the work done well; which, I don't know if you use very many contractors, is unusual and a good thing. Overall I would use them again in a heartbeat and I would suggest them to other people. <br />"
