"This was the second major job I hired this company for. The first was the addition of a screened- in deck and patio addition in 2017. Both times they were professional, on time, and quality of work was outstanding. I will not hesitate to hire them for future projects."

"Shortly after the initial contact, Mr. Will Williamson was performing an estimate and we discussed how to best accomplish the job - which was a to paint the whole exterior of my 2-story colonial and do some minor wood siding and window repair. After approval, the Top Gun team was on site within a day, doing preparation for the next day when painting began. The Top Gun Team was staffed by seasoned professionals and the results show it. They were responsive to our needs and committed to doing a great job. We are very pleased with quality of the job and the quality of the people working for Top Gun. If we need another painting job in the Richmond area, I will call Will Williamson and the Top Gun Team."

"The team at Professional Home Services did a wonderful job replacing our old wood siding and porches with new vinyl siding and porch railings, along with wrapping our windows, and replacing gutters. The owner responded to our phone call quickly and the work started on time. He also stopped by to look over everything as the work was being done and to see if we had any questions. The quality of the work is great and it looks like a new house!"

"Jerry and his team helped us when another company had a problem installing a new dishwasher in our kitchen. A previous owner of the home renovated the kitchen but blocked the dishwasher in with the new flooring and countertop, and the other company could not get the old dishwasher out. Square Deal was able to walk us through our options to solve this issue and was able and willing to help us execute any of them. In the end, we had them fix the old installation's plumbing issues and are keeping the existing dishwasher for now, but now know what we face when we do replace it. It was a tricky situation and I was so thankful they took the time to help us even though it wasn't a major job -- but we needed the expertise they had in order to address the problems (carpentry, plumbing, appliance issues). I was beyond impressed by their customer service and they are clearly experts in the difference between a quality renovation and a slip-shod one. They are dedicated to high quality work, responded quickly and treated us like important clients even though it was a minor job. I would absolutely turn to them for a bigger job, and was beyond impressed."

"Exceptionally good work. Ceilings are tricky, and both the patching and painting were done on time and with little "dust" spread. Follow up work (as I said, ceilings are tricky, and sometimes minor flaws are only seen in specific daylighting) was punctual and very well done. Not the least expensive contractor; but the best we've found in 30 years in the Richmond area."

"This is the third time I've hired Trogdon Enterprises to perform work for our company. As always they go above and beyond with their service. Jay always makes good recommendations that will benefit US and educates us on our home remodeling projects. We have projects in the future that we're planning and Trogdon Enterprises will be the only company we call!"

"We've used Scott three times now, to paint our whole house (interior) when we moved into it 3 years ago, to paint our old house when we were ready to put in on the market, and most recently to paint our nursery and put up chair rail. I think its only fair to post that he's hands down the best painter I've ever used - its simply not worth my time and effort to paint myself anymore. He's professional, on-time, does an excellent job, and his prices are reasonable for the high quality work you are going to get. Because of this, he's pretty busy so you may need to plan a little ahead to get on his schedule.

Scott will guide you though the proper paint selection process (finish and type) and does a great job repairing any damage before the painting starts (nail holes, existing wallpaper, etc..). Our new nursery looks amazing (two tone w/ chair rail) and the edging is immaculate. When we sold our old house in the fan (keep in mind this was a 90-year old house), my real estate agent told me that they buyer didn't believe the house was previously occupied for several years since the paint job was so pristine (no cracks, clumped plaster, etc..)

After you use Montrose painting, you will never pick up a brush again (well, maybe a touch up roller to clean up after your kids or dog!)"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Hopewell, VA

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
