"Travis went above and beyond to deliver great service. He took pictures of what he saw going on in the crawl space. He patiently and carefully explained those issues to me. He is very knowledgeable. When it’s time to service the dehumidifier next year, I will be sure to ask for him."

"Chris is very friendly and responsive. Despite his busy schedule, he gave us fast turnaround on the estimate and scheduled our one-day repairs before starting another project that could take a few weeks. Chris did a great job in repairing cracks on the front porch, chimney, and stone wall. He also replaced a broken flagstone on the stone steps. We know who to call the next time we need masonry work!"

"G&B recently completed a driveway, sidewalks and patio with fire pit for us and it turned out beautifully. George offered several helpful suggestions for choosing the right color and stamping pattern to really tie the project in with the house. These extra details are why we chose G&B above the others. The crew was prompt on completing the projects as well as courteous and mindful of our neighbors during the job. Highly, highly recommend for any concrete needs."

"We are first time homeowners and had a clogged pipe that resulted in water damage in the basement and damage to our roof from a storm within a few month period. We've never had to file a claim before or deal with this level of damage, and I didn't know where to start (do I call the insurance company, how do I navigate the process?). A friend who had worked with Funari in the past recommended them to me. I'm so glad they did! They did all the work, talked me through the process, and handed me a check at the end. They are professional, competent, and definitely worth their fee. Highly recommend!"

"The backyard blew away our expectations and we would HIGHLY recommend using JMJ Landscaping. We had a loose vision for the backyard and Jason took that vision to the next level recommending innovative approaches to some of the key aspects of the yard including a unique approach to the built in seating, an accent wall with lighting, hooking up the fireplace, paver design, etc. In addition, there was excellent responsiveness and oversight of the project by the Owner, Jason, and that carried over to his team who had great attention to detail and took great pride in their work. We have had a number of different contractors work on our house and JMJ by far was one of the most professional and responsive and all while delivering a high quality end product. Thanks JMJ! <br />"

"<br /> Basements Love US came out in a terrible rain storm to address a water leak in my concrete basement. They identified two areas of trouble; my patio slab connected to the back of my basement and two vertical cracks 10 feet high.  They poured concrete and replaced the slab including a bell drain for drainage which came out very nice. Even built a stair that leads to the sliding glass patio.  They repaired the vertical crack by digging down to the bottom of my wall (excavated) and they used this waterproof gel, then filled the space back with dirt. It looks very nice. The waterproofing and concrete work came with a warranty which gave me comfort. They also sprayed the basement with a mold remediation product and did an OZONE treatment to purify the air. "Joe was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable.  He arrived on time with one other employee and completed the work in one day.  They kept the work area clean and removed all excess materials when they were done.  The price was exactly as quoted and he even fixed one of my flagstone steps, that was loose, free of charge.  I highly recommend JLM Contracting and would use them again in the future. <br />"

"I had a leak in my kitchen for years. Every time a contractor looked at it, they would "fix it" and 6 months later the leak would return. Joe Law's team surveyed my roof, sent me pictures, gave me a brand new roof and then did a hose test to make sure the leak was fixed. The guys arrived early and finished quickly. They were courteous and knowledgeable. I wouldn't definitely hire again."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Huntingdon Valley, PA

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
